Violence action in school is getting widespreadly happened nowadays as can be seen from the growing number of news coverage about the acts of violence in newspaper or television. One example of acts of violence occurring in school is bullying. Bullying victim have a bad social adjustment so that it makes victim feel afraid to go to school even worse they don’t want to go at all, secede their selves out from the society, therefore later will be impact to academic achievement of the bullying victim. The aim of this study is to understand whether there is any correlation between bullying action and academic achievement. This study is a quantitative research located in Badung Regency, Gianyar Regency and Denpasar City. Samples used in this study are 176 within clusion criteria those are elementary school students on grade 4th, 5th, and 6th, and are bullying victim. The sampling method is cluster sampling. Data collection method is questionnaire which measure bullying action that happened to bullying victim (validity is around 0.204 to 0.646 and its reliability is 0.926) and the report score of uneven semester from bullying victim. The analysis method is simple linear regression. From the statistic result the score of r = -0.779 and p = 0.000 (p less than 0.05) which means there is a negative correlation between bullying action and academic achievement of bullying victim at the elementary school level. The bullying victims will have trouble in social activities, feeling afraid of school that causes a high frequency of absent and can’t studying well, and have a trouble in concentration of study. It will impact to the academic achievement. The result of this study is show that there is a difference of bullying action to boys and girls. PMW is one of the government initiative to support alumnus of university to be a job creator, but when college students choose to be entrepreneur surely there will be obstacles that must be overcome. Therefore need entrepreneur motivation to be up against that obstacles. One of factor which raises motivation is adversity quotient. Peoples who has adversity quotient are someone who had self motivation. College students need to have adversity quotient inside of their mind to motivate them in entrepreneurship. This research aims to know the relation between adversity quotient with entrepreneurship motivation in student of Udayana University who join PMW.This research using surfeited sample technique. The respondent in this research are students of Udayana University who join PMW with total 70 persons. Scales in this research are adversity quotient scale with total 42 items and entrepreneur motivation with total 38 items. Reliability coefficient of adversity quotient scale is 0.924 and entrepreneurship motivation is 0.941. This research used simple linear regression as additional. The result from this research showed correlation coefficient is 0.682 with probability score between variable is 0.000 which mean there are significant relation between entrepreneurship motivation variable. The coefficient determination R square is 0.465 which mean 46.5% entrepreneurship satisfaction can be explain by adversity quotient variable, however the rest 53.5% can be explain by another factor.Keywords: PMW, adversity quotient, entrepreneurship motivation
Celebrity worship merupakan suatu kecenderungan untuk memformulasikan kedekatan dengan seorang idola, yang mengarah kepada perilaku disfungsional (Rojek, 2012). Berdasarkan fakta di lapangan, diketahui bahwa pada penggemar K-Pop usia dewasa awal masih terlibat dalam celebrity worship. Hal tersebut terlihat dari berbagai aktivitas yang dilakukan penggemar K-Pop usia dewasa awal untuk menunjukkan ekspresi cinta kepada idola K-Pop yang terkadang dianggap terlalu berlebihan, obsesif, delusif, dan posesif. Celebrity worship berpotensi menghambat perkembangan usia dewasa awal untuk membangun hubungan intim dengan orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran celebrity worship pada penggemar K-Pop Bali. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendektan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan pengumpulan bahan visual pada empat penggemar K-Pop Bali. Seluruh responden berjenis kelamin perempuan dan berusia antara 21-22 tahun yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa celebrity worship mencakup alasan menyukai idola, motivasi pengidolaan, dan aktivitas pengidolaan. Hasil penelitian juga menemukan bentuk baru dari celebrity worship, yaitu supportive idolization pada penggemar K-Pop usia dewasa awal di Bali. Kata kunci: Celebrity worship, dewasa awal, k-pop.
Learning is a process or activity that would not stop in a person lifetime. Learning can be done by anyone and anywhere. One of the learning process occur in the school environment. Each student has an individual learning style that suits their convenience. The result of the study will further improve if aided by the accompanying media that is taking notes. Taking notes is included in the learning process when done with awareness and without enforcement from others. Taking note behavior will help students understanding the perception of memory skill in learning process. Due to the reasons above, the researcher wants to look relationship between the attitude of taking note behavior towards the attitude of memory skill in learning process. The research methodology is quantitative, used 166 subjects whom are grade 2 science, high school students in Denpasar, with 15 to 17 years old age range. The correlation coefficient is 0,442 with 0,000 probabilities. This mentioned results shows that there is a relationship between the attitude of taking note behavior towards the attitude of memory skill in learning process. The determination coefficient is 0,195. The analysis method in this research is simple regression. Statistical analysis showed that the attitudes of taking note behavior can be used to predict attitudes of memory skill. When individuals have attitude of taking note behavior, then the individual will able to see as far as which the attitude of memory skill within each individual. The increase number of turnover each year in hospitality industry causes by inappropriate commission. The employee’s perception of inappropriate compensation’s issue will decrease a commitment of employee to the organization that will affect to the discharge of organization. This study aiming to see the relationship between perception of compensation’s justice with organizational commitment in hospitality industry. Methodology this study is a quantitative research that used linier regression technique and two stage cluster sampling technique to collect the sampels. The respondents are an employee at 6 hotels, 3 motels, 1 resort, 3 bars, 2 restaurants, 2 hospitals, and 4 travel agents with 189 employees. Acting as the measuring device in this research is 26 valid items on scale of perception of compensation’s justice ranging between 0,385 to 0,743 and the coefficient reliability is 0,945. While in scale of organizational commitment there were 37 valid items with validity items ranging from 0,247 to 0,688 and the coefficient reliability is 0,939. The statistic analysis result showed that there a positive relationship and significant between perception of compensation’s justice with organizational commitment (r = 0,826, p = 0,000). The aspects perception of compensation’s justice were employee’s is a thought, feelings, and behavior about the justice in giving the compensation. The effective contribution to perception of compensation’s justice with organizational commitment is 68, 2 percent. Futher analysis showed that was a very strongly relationship between perception of compensation’s justice with affective commitment component (r=0,802). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kondisi kesehatan mental mahasiswa melalui desain penelitian cross-sectional survey. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan open-ended questionnaire, perceived stress scale-10 (PSS-10), dan the Brief COPE Questionnaire. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: 1) permasalahan kehidupan kampus, perasaan dan pikiran negatif, serta permasalahan relasi merupakan situasi sulit yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa; 2) sebanyak 50.45% mahasiswa mengalami stres pada kategori sedang, 45.05% mengalami stres pada kategori tinggi, dan 4.5% mengalami stres pada kategori rendah; 3) strategi koping dapat memprediksi stres secara signifikan [F(14,96)=5.781; p<0.001]; dan 4) strategi koping jenis positive reframing dan active coping dapat memprediksi penurunan stres, sedangkan strategi koping jenis self-blame dan self-distraction dapat memprediksi peningkatan stres
Provinsi Bali sebagai destinasi utama wisatawan, menjadikan usaha-usaha yang bergerak di bidang pariwisata seperti hotel bintang lima tumbuh pesat sehingga menjadi daya tarik bagi tenaga kerja dari Bali maupun luar Bali untuk bekerja pada hotel bintang lima. Hal tersebut membuat pengusaha hotel bintang lima memiliki kandidat karyawan yang beragam, sehingga aspek pertimbangan lainnya dibutuhkan untuk meramalkan kinerja calon karyawannya. Motivasi kerja dan etos kerja merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja. Oleh karena itu peneliti ingin mengetahui perbedaan motivasi kerja dan etos kerja antara karyawan pendatang dengan karyawan non pendatang yang bekerja di hotel bintang lima di Bali. Sampel penelitian diambil secara acak dengan metode two-stage cluster sampling hingga mendapatkan 134 sampel dari 13 hotel bintang lima yang tersebar di dua kabupaten dan satu kotamadya dengan. Analisis uji beda Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan pada variabel motivasi kerja (t = -2.325; p = 0.022 ? 0.05) dan pada variabel etos kerja (t = -2.967; p = 0.004 ? 0.05) yang artinya Ho ditolak. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan motivasi kerja dan etos kerja antara karyawan pendatang dengan karyawan non pendatang yang bekerja pada hotel bintang lima di Bali. Meningkatnya jumlah wisatawan yang datang ke Bali, menyebabkan sarana akomodasi, seperti hotel juga mengalami peningkatan. Adanya kebutuhan hotel akan sumber tenaga kerja serta melakukan efisiensi biaya sehingga manajemen hotel mempekerjakan karyawan dengan status kerja yang berbeda. Industri perhotelan merupakan salah satu sektor yang memerlukan perilaku kewargaan organisasi karena tujuan utama setiap hotel pada umumnya yaitu memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik dan berkualitas kepada wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan perilaku kewargaan organisasi berdasarkan status kerja karyawan hotel di Bali ditinjau dari kualitas kehidupan kerja. Sampel penelitian diambil secara acak dengan metode two-stage cluster sampling hingga mendapatkan 126 sampel dari 11 hotel di Denpasar. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 64 karyawan dengan PKWTT (Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tidak Tertentu) atau yang sering disebut dengan karyawan tetap dan 62 karyawan dengan PKWT (Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tertentu) atau yang lebih dikenal dengan istilah karyawan kontrak, outsourcing, dan pekerja harian. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah skala perilaku kewargaan organisasi dan skala kualitas kehidupan kerja. Hasil analisis ANCOVAmenunjukkan ada perbedaan perilaku kewargaan organisasi berdasarkan status kerja karyawan ditinjau dari kualitas kehidupan kerja. Perbedaan perilaku kewargaan organisasi dan kualitas kehidupan kerja ditinjau dari status kerja karyawan menggunakan analisis uji komparasi independent sample t-test yang menunjukkan ada perbedaan perilaku kewargaan organisasi dan kualitas kehidupan kerja antara karyawan dengan PKWTT dan karyawan dengan PKWT yang bekerja pada hotel di Bali. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan adanya hubungan fungsional antara kualitas kehidupan kerja dan perilaku kewargaanorganisasi.
