Coastal tourist nursing takes an important role in managing health in coastal communities order. The improvement of accidents while traveling can occur due to natural phenomena and the negligence of tourists and lifeguards. Through the implementation of the coastal tourist nursing model, tourist safety can be improved by empowering lifeguards and community nurses as well as representing a multi-sectoral partnership between health-sector other sectors. This study used a quasi-experimental pre-post-test design with a control group and involved 118 lifeguards and 720 tourists. Sampling used the Cluster Sampling technique which was carried out on the coasts of Badung Regency. Data were analyzed with the chi-square test, t-test, and General Linear Model-Repeated Measure (GLM-RM). Measuring the safety of tourists using the benchmarks of knowledge, attitudes, and actions of tourists who studied with a questionnaire with the results of the validity test r-count>0,361 and reliability test with r-Alpha for knowledge 0,870, attitude 0,888, and behavior 0,915. The increase was significant (p-value<0,05) in all aspects of tourists in the intervention group after 3 months of giving the intervention model. However, tourist safety tended to decrease after 6 months of intervention. Strengthening the implementation of models and communication between lifeguards and community nurses is needed to maintain community safety in specific coastal groups.

A decrease in both physiological and psychological functioning in older adults necessitates a family's assistance to improve their health status in order to maintain the condition and care of older adults with degenerative diseases that are often experienced with hypertension. Hypertensive management consists of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy which requires dynamic treatment. The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of family and cadre empowerment on older adults with hypertension's health status in Bali Province. The method used pre-post-test quasi experiment with control group design and it involved 62 older adult respondents and family in the province of Bali. Data was analysed by dependent and independent t-test as well as double logistic regression test. Analysis results showed there was a significant influence from the intervention on older adult health status. The multivariate test also discovered that the age of the older adult also affects the increase in older adult health status. It is expected that this program can be implemented in health services and developed into a more dynamic program.
Coastal tourist nursing is intended for coastal tourists related to the risk of accidents that may occur during the coastal activity. The risk of accidents in tourists can occur due to bad weather, lack of rescue equipment, and the limited ability of the coast guard to perform first aid and emergency treatment. This study described the relationship between coastal tourist nursing with the prevention of injuries and the first aid of coastal accidents, as well as the working procedures and obstacles that might occur during the rescue. The research was conducted by the qualitative method through in-depth interviews with respondents consisting of tourists, Balawista, and health workers. The data is analyzed with qualitative descriptive analysis. The interview generates 14 themes related to activities on coastal such as the duties of Balawista, warning signs, means of communication, improvement of ability, accident cases, accident treatment, referral of cases, needs of infrastructure facilities, human resources needs, health care needs, infrastructure factors, human factors, situation factors, and how to cope with the problem. Those themes can be used as a reflection in following up the safety service efforts to coastal tourists.
