Objetivou-se com este trabalho relatar o resultado da suplementação de reprodutores macho criados em Central para a produção de sêmen, submetidos a utilização de um determinado Nutracêutico composto por aminoácidos, vitaminas, antioxidantes e minerais, adicionados a sua dieta, durante um período de sessenta dias e avaliando a produção espermática, para os parâmetros quantitativos e qualitativos para as seguintes características do sêmen: Numero de ejaculados, volume, motilidade, vigor, concentração, Número de Palhetas produzidas, defeitos maiores, defeitos menores e defeitos totais. Ao fim do tempo estimado decorreu-se uma análise comparativa com a produção dos sessenta dias anteriores antes do início do tratamento. Com o cruzamento dos resultados é possível concluir que a produção espermática dos reprodutores tratados com o Nutracêutico apresentara melhoras em sua produção.
A rumenotomia é usada para diagnosticar e tratar várias condições que envolvem o estômago, incluindo reticulite, acidose ruminal, inchaço, reticulite traumática, remoção de materiais estranhos como bolsas e fios no trato digestivo e atonia do omaso ou abomaso. Também pode ser usado para tratar a atonia do estômago ou omaso que está localizado entre o retículo e o omaso ou no esôfago inferior. Sendo assim, esta pesquisa visa responder a seguinte questão: Quais os benefícios da cirurgia de rumenotomia para a saúde do animal? O objetivo geral deste estudo é abordar os benefícios da rumenotomia para a saúde do animal. A pesquisa consistiu em um estudo de caso qualitativo, no qual foram primeiramente selecionados artigos que abordam sobre a temática, tais artigos serão retirados das referidas bases de dados: Lilacs, Scielo e Periódicos Capes. Os artigos foram aqueles publicados nos últimos 05 anos, compreendendo o período de 2017 a 2022. A última etapa desta pesquisa consistiu no estudo de caso de um animal bovino reprodutor macho de aproximadamente 6 anos de idade, após a avaliação visual do animal feita pelos profissionais, optou-se por começar o procedimento de rumenotomia, visto que o proprietário tinha certeza que o animal avia ingerido o plástico. Contudo, os resultados mediante a observação da cirurgia de rumenotomia apontaram que esta é de grande benefício para a saúde do animal, pois através desta intervenção cirúrgica é possível remover possíveis resíduos indigestos ingeridos pelo animal, como por exemplo, plásticos, sacos, dentre outros.
As fraturas ósseas em bovinos ocorrem com certa frequência, principalmente nos ossos metacarpo e metatarso, tornando-as um fator de grande importância econômica, visto que por muitas vezes o custo com o tratamento e elevado. O presente relato descreve um paciente com fratura fechada, no metacarpo em seu membro apendicular torácico esquerdo, e a formada de reparação da fratura que neste caso foi, a utilização da muleta de Thomas modificada e gesso.
No Brasil, a pecuária é um dos principais recursos econômicos que movimentam a economia do país, dispondo Mato Grosso como o maior rebanho bovino do Brasil. Expandindo a FIV a cada ano, em busca de animais geneticamente superiores em um período de tempo reduzido. O estudo visou avaliar a taxa de fecundação de 4 novos touros reprodutores que entraram em avaliação sobre sua taxa de fertilidade na PIV em 31 vacas doadoras, oriundos da fazenda X. Foram realizados 3 (três) avaliações para a produção de embriões, com touros nascidos no intervalo da data de 08/08/2019 a 18/09/2020, o primeiro estudo teve 206 oócitos cultivados e 16 (7,76%) de embriões produzidos - TOURO A: 6,47% (9/139), TOURO B: 0% (0/25), TOURO C: 29,41% (5/17) e TOURO D: 8,00% (2/25), segundo estudo teve 514 oócitos cultivamos e 150 (29,18%) de embriões produzidos - TOURO A: 37,59% (103/274), TOURO B: 18,38% (25/136), TOURO C: 53,85% (21/39) e TOURO D: 1,54% (1/65), o terceiro estudo teve 349 oócitos cultivados e 111 (31,80%) de embriões produzidos - TOURO A: 29,77% (39/131), TOURO B: 45,22% (71/157), TOURO C: 5,56 (1/18) e TOURO D: 0,00% (0/43). Concluiu-se que não obteve-se resultados satisfatórios com os touro, através de pesquisas, suponha-se que os touros por serem jovens ainda não estão totalmente capacitados sexualmente.
Atresia anal é um defeito congênito comum em animais que frequentemente acomete bezerros e leitões. Normalmente há pouco mais que pele e subcutis permanecendo sem perfuração, sendo que é possível realização de abertura cirúrgica satisfatória, desde que o esfíncter muscular e o reto estejam desenvolvidos. Este relato de caso teve como objetivo descrever o protocolo de tratamento cirúrgico de atresia anal em bezerro. A pesquisa examinou um tema específico por meio de dois métodos distintos: qualitativo e quantitativo. Primeiramente, foram selecionados artigos dos periódicos Lilacs, Scielo e Capes com publicação de 2017 a 2022 focando no tema escolhido. Em seguida, os dados foram analisados pela análise qualitativa. O estudo de caso evidenciou como resultado que a atresia anal é um defeito congênito que pode ser facilmente corrigido através de intervenção cirúrgica sem causar maiores danos à vida do animal, assim, se os cuidados clínicos forem administrados, uma intervenção cirúrgica precoce pode ocorrer, além disso, os cuidados pré, trans e pós-operatórios adequados podem levar a um resultado satisfatório para o animal. No entanto, conclui-se que em alguns casos, a condição clínica do animal torna extremamente difícil avaliar a gravidade de sua atresia, o que dificulta o tratamento adequado desses casos, por isso, é imprescindível o rápido diagnóstico da anomalia.
