Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis in the knee. It is occurring when the protective cartilage that cushions the ends of your bones wears down over time and mostly often in people 50 years of age and older. The study was designed to randomized control trial and aimed to compare before and after the 3-months intervention program on self-care sandbag exercise program for knee osteoarthritis patients in the secondary care in Thailand. They were divided into 2 groups, the intervention group, and the control group by using the probability sampling. Seventy knee osteoarthritis patients participated in this study. Both of group were assessed the Oxford knee score and the knowledge of knee osteoarthritis at the baseline and after 3-months intervention program. The Independent t-test and Paired sample t-test were used for comparison the all parameters between and within the group, respectively. The results showed that the Oxford pain score of knee osteoarthritis was decreased scientifically more than the control group (p<0.001) and the knowledge of knee osteoarthritis was increased significantly (p<0.001). In conclusion, the self-care sandbag exercise program can reduce the severity of pain among knee osteoarthritis patients and can promote to the usaul care for the osteoarthritis pateintes.
This study included a discussion of the critical role VHVs played in the control, prevention, and monitoring of the Covid-19 pandemic in Thailand, as well as a review of related literature, with 11 of 59 topics chosen. The purpose of this study was to investigate and improve VHV competence in the control, prevention, and monitoring of the Covid-19 pandemic. The outcomes of the study indicated that VHVs were important in efficiently managing, preventing, and monitoring the Covid-19 pandemic from 2020 until the present. As a result, in addition to maximizing the potential of VHVs, it is important to be varied, knowledgeable, and up to date on current events. However, the most cost-effective utilization of resources is referred to as "Sufficiency Healthcare, High Benefit, Most Economical" when utilizing the concepts of sufficiency economics.
X-ray radiation (ionization) cannot be felt directly by the five human senses. Therefore, radiation monitoring is needed, one of which by using a survey meter. The purpose of this research is to directly monitor the level of radiation exposure and leakage of X-ray tube containers in the work area. This was done to ensure the safety and health of workers in the radiation transmission area, so that it is in accordance with the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle, which is stipulated in the Decree of the Minister of Health RI No. 1250/Menkes/SK/XII/2009 concerning Guidelines for Quality Control of Radiodiagnostic Equipment as Standard Values for X-Ray Radiation Monitoring. This research is an experimental study with a survey meter equipment module design using a Geiger Muller sensor equipped with data storage. This module design method uses Arduino programming as data processing and is displayed on the CHARACTER LCD. Test analysis was carried out by comparing the measurement value of the module with the standard value as a standard for comparison. Based on the measurement results, the X-ray tube leak test value resulted in a standard AAT survey meter value of 0.001 both using a closed and unsupplied 2mm Pb circuit, namely 0.00097 mGy/hour and 0.00092 mGy/hour. Meanwhile, the results of the tube leakage test using a survey meter, both circuits, modules, and standard survey meters show a passing grade test value of < 1mGy/hour. In conclusion, the module design using the Geiger Muller sensor is feasible to use.
The interesting scenario involving COVID-19's breakout in multiple nations is still serious in many areas of the world. This perceived risk can significantly increase compliance with COVID-19 prevention behaviors during the next pandemic. The purpose of this study was to explore how people perceive COVID-19 risk, disease severity, and COVID-19 prevention in Samut Songkhram province, Thailand. A study examined the relationship between people's perceptions of risk, COVID-19 severity, and COVID-19 prevention activity. The COVID-19 issue was the subject of this cross-sectional investigation, using a Geographic Information System. A cross-sectional study on perception of COVID-19 risk, disease severity, and COVID-19 prevention. Explore the relationship between the people's perception of COVID-19 risk, disease severity, and COVID-19 prevention behaviors. Descriptive statistics, such as frequency distribution methods, mean, standard deviation. Analytical statistics, such as correlation and multiple regression, were used to analyze the data. This study found that the female to male ratio is around 1:2. The age group with the most representation was 15-26 years old. The results showed that people's perception of COVID-19 risk had no relationship to COVID-19 preventive behaviors. People's perception of COVID-19 severity was shown to be significantly associated with COVID-19 prevention behaviors at 0.001. The results of this study will be used to establish an intervention model for encouraging and establishing effective COVID-19 preventive practices, as well as maintaining and continuing them.
