Pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut merupakan salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan kesehatan gigi dan mulut.Peranan rongga mulut sangat besar bagi kesehatan dan kesejahteraan manusia.Secara umum, sesorang dikatakan sehat bukan hanya tubuhnya yang sehat melainkan juga sehat rongga mulut dan giginya.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan anak tentang menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut dengan metode ceramah dan media puzzle. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang.
Hasil data yang diperoleh selisih tingkat pengetahuan antara metode ceramah dan media puzzle memiliki perbedaan. Sebelum dan sesudah diberikan metode ceramah, mendapat skor 80 dengan rata-rata 5,3 menjadi 129 dengan rata-rata 8,6. Untuk tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan media puzzle, mendapat skor 90 dengan rata-rata 6 menjadi 149 dengan rata-rata 9,9. Artinya selisih rata-rata skor metode ceramah yaitu 3,2 sedangkan media puzzle 3,9.
Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah jika dibandingkan antara metode ceramah dan media puzzle, siswa/I lebih paham dan mengerti terhadap kegiatan media puzzle. sebab, media puzzle lebih menarik karena terdapat gambar tentang cara menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut sehingga bermanfaat bagi anak untuk menambah pengetahuan dalam menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut
Permanent first molars are the largest teeth and only eruption after the growth and development of the jaw is enough. About all children school around the world have suffered dental caries, and the highest are found in Asia and Latin America. The type of research is a descriptive study with the goal to describe the knowledge of parents about caries in permanent first molars at SD Negeri 104238 Telaga Sari Kec. Tanjung Morawa in 2018. A total of 30 respondents selected by the proposive sampling method measured their parents' knowledge about caries in the permanent first molars and caries in the child's permanent first molars. The results is as many as 70% of parents of class I students had good knowledge, as many as 89.67% of class I students had permanent first molars that had grown, and 46.77% of grade I students had permanent first molars that had been affected by caries. The level of knowledge of parents of class I students about caries in permanent first molars at SD Negeri 104238 Telaga Sari in Tanjung Morawa in 2018 has been categorized well even though there is still permanent first molars caries in class I students.
BACKGROUND/AIM: To ascertain Hypnobreastfeeding on increased milk production in Breastfeeding Mothers of Perlis Village, Tangkahan Durian District, in Nort Sumatera of Indonesia.
METHODS: A Quasy experiment study with non-equivalen control group approach with purposive sampling. A total of 24 samples randomly selected become as many as 12 people were given hypnobreastfeeding treatment and 12 people were not treated with the inclusion criteria age of infants were10 days - 1 month, mother’s Hb ≥ 12 g% and infants were not given formula milk during the study. Data entry was done manually but the analysis was done with the SPSS version 12 programme. Results were presented as distribution frequencies.
RESULTS: Hypnobreastfeeding was significantly increase milk production in breastfeeding mothers (p value =0.001). The mean of initial breast milk in the hypnobreastfeeding group was 78.92 ml SD 2.15 and after treatment became 93.94 ml (SD=5.23). The findings of the study were compared with previous studies and the researchers showed how the relevant theories that guided the study were used to explain the findings.
CONCLUSION: Hypnobreastfeeding treatment could increased milk production of breastfeeding mothers. So, the counseling of Hypnobreastfeeding treatment was necessary to breastfeeding mothers even to mothers during pregnancy.
Usia sekolah dasar merupakan usia yang ideal untuk melatih kemampuan motorik seorang anak, termasukdi antaranya menyikat gigi. Metode demonstrasi pada penyuluhan kesehatan gigi dan mulut efektif dalammendukung meningkatnya pemahaman anak, dengan mempraktekkan secara langsung cara menyikat gigiyang benar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaranpengetahuan cara menyikat gigi siswa-siswi kelas V SD Negeri 050633 Mojosari Kecamatan KualaKabupaten Langkat sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan metode demonstrasi. Jenis penelitian iniadalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional untuk mengukur pengetahuan cara menyikat gigisebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan metode demonstrasi pada responden sejumlah 30 orangberusia antara usia 10-11 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Tingkat pengetahuan siswa Kelas V SDusia 10-11 tahun di SD Negeri 050633 Mojosari Kecamatan Kuala Kabupaten Langkat sebelum diberipenyuluhan metode demonstrasi masih termasuk kriteria kurang (70%), dan kriteria cukup (30%), dansesudah diberi penyuluhan metode demonstrasi meningkat menjadi kriteria baik sebesar 83,3% dan hanya16,7% yang termasuk kriteria cukup. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapatnya perubahan pengetahuansiswa-siswi kelas V SD Negeri 050633 Mojosari Kecamatan Kuala Kabupaten Langkat sebelum dansesudah diberikan penyuluhan metode demonstrasi.
