Abstract. Capacity building of human resources is needed in order to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and responsiveness of village government performance. Based on this view, this study analyzes the strength of village government capacity to implement The Village Law No. 6 of 2014 in Sinjai District, especially in Sanjai Village. This research uses the qualitative method. Data collection techniques are conducted by in-depth and open interviews, direct observation or observation in the field, as well as a review of the relevant written documents. The results of the research indicate that strengthening the capacity of the village government should meet terms of recruitment, working conditions, leadership, organizational culture, and managerial structure. Ongoing training and active participation from village government to attend training undertaken by the district government are a contributing factor to strengthening the capacity of the Sanjai Village government. In addition to supporting factors, inhibiting factors are also found, such as low participation of the community and inactive role of village institutions.
This study aims to analyze the role of the Muhammadiyah Institute in disaster mitigation in Sinjai region. As a large organization in Sinjai, Muhammadiyah serves as the government's partner in promoting disaster preparedness to the public via institutions that were founded on the level of Regional Leadership and the level of business charity. This research uses descriptive analysis with qualitative methods. The respondents were Muhammadiyah Regional Leaders, Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Institutions, and Muhammadiyah cadres in the Sinjai region. The results of this study indicated that the institution, since the Regional Leadership of Muhammadiyah Sinjai founded it, had not had a work program. Thus, the agency has not yet significantly contributed to disaster mitigation. All cadres who exist in the structure of the institution are cadres in various other organizations that can be resources in achieving organizational goals
The impact Covid-19 pandemic is very big when we look at it from the quality and quantity side, where previously the community generally prayed in congregation in the mosque both in terms of quantity, but during the Covid-19 pandemic, we can see that in the field it has fallen greatly in terms of quantity.This study aims to determine the management carried out by the Muhammadiyah Regional Leaders (PDM) of the Sinjai Regency in conducting Da'wah during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The method used is qualitative research methods and data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data verification, and concluding, the results of this study indicate that Da'wah Planning, Muhammadiyah Regional Leaders carry out Da'wah planning virtually by involving several Muhammadiyah Business Charities in Sinjai Regency. Also, during this pandemic in terms of quantity, there were more recitation participants than before the pandemic. Then in terms of controlling Da'wah, the PDM of the Sinjai Regency carried out control, namely evaluating in terms of the implementation of da'wah by always synergizing and coordinating with all Muhammadiyah charities in Sinjai Regency, starting from Ortom, Higher Education to Branch Leaders in each of the existing branches.
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui sinergitas Pemerintah Desa Salohe dan Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa dalam Penyelenggaraan Badan Usaha Milik Desa di Kabupaten Sinjai. Keberadaan Badan usaha milik Desa diharapkan dapat mendukung munculnya demokrasi sosial di desa melalui peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat desa secara berkelanjutan sehingga partisipasi masyarakat juga bertambah. Selain itu, pemerintah desa diharapkan mampu berpola kreatif dan inovatif dalam mendominasi kegiatan ekonomi desa melalui kepemilikan Badan Usaha Milik Desa sehingga dapat membangun perekonomian daerah guna menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan baru, menghasilkan barang dan jasa daerah, meningkatkan perdagangan antar-pemerintah daerah dan memberikan layanan yang optimal bagi konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisa deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sinergitas Pemerintah Desa Salohe dan Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa dalam penyelenggaraan Badan Usaha Milik Desa berjalan dengan baik. Pemerintah Desa Salohe juga bersinergi dengan Pendamping Desa untuk memfasilitasi pembentukan hingga berjalannya Badan Usaha Milik Desa dengan menjalin komunikasi langsung maupun tidak langsung.
