Sacrococcygeal teratomas are a type of germ cell tumour (GCTs) accounting for 40% of all GCTs of all GCT,s in children. Interestingly 75% occurs in females. Reporting here a case of 3 years old female baby hospitalized for surgical excision of sacrococcygeal teratoma. A female (3-year-old) patient was referred to the pediatric outpatient department at Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital Wardha on 19th May 2021. Complaining of swelling on right gluteal region Since 6 month and swelling is increases day by day, pain in back side, fever (Temperature - 101˚F) and tenderness in back side, leg weakness, constipation and she was admitted to Pediatric ward. Surgical excision of sacrocogygeal teratoma was done during her hospitalization. She received one cycle of chemotherapy with antineoplastic medicines. The client discharged after 10 days stay in hospital.
Introduction: The most prevalent condition seen in the gynecology outpatient department is abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB). AUB can be caused by a variety of conditions 1. A 42 year female who have chief complaints of abnormal uterine bleeding is bleeding from the uterus that is longer than usual or that occurs at an irregular time. several characteristics of underlying hereditary or acquired blood disorders increase the "anticipated" hormonal imbalance at this age, hence worsening the morbidity of the underlying condition axis .Despite the fact that blood problems can cause AUB, uterine structural and/or endocrine abnormalities are frequently missed when a blood illness is present [1]. Hematologists and gynecologists, as well as adolescent medicine experts, must work to get her to treat a complex etiology [2,3]. Patient History: A 42 year old female was admitted in AVBRH in gynec ward sawangi meghe wardha with chief complaint of abnormal uterine bleeding since 2 month, abdominal pain since 1 week, weakness. Medical Management: Patient treated with anticoagulant, antibiotic, iron supplement. Nursing Management: Administrative IV fluid monitor vital sign, and medication given by doctor’s order. Conclusion: Women should be asked about their previous menstrual cycle, regularity, desire for reproduction, contraception, and sexual health by their primary care providers. If abnormal uterine bleeding is detected at the primary care level, additional history, examination, and testing can be undertaken, and appropriate consultations can be scheduled. Timely treatment and management of abnormal uterine bleeding with anemia.
Aim of the Study: To assess the effectiveness of self-instructional module on healthy sleep hygiene habits on quality of sleep, among arthritis patients. Study Design: The design that will be used in the study is One Group Pre Test Post Test research design. Methodology: A study used a pre-test post-test design with no control group and a pre-experimental design. The study will be conducted during December 2021 to May 2021.The impact of self-instructional module on healthy sleep hygiene habits on quality of sleep, among arthritis patients will be assessed using the purposive sampling technique. In this study Evaluatory research approach will be used. Selected 140 arthritis patients will be assessed primarily for knowledge by giving structured questionnaires regarding healthy sleep hygiene habits and then self-instructional module on healthy sleep hygiene habits on quality of sleep, will be given to the selected sample developed by researcher as intervention. Expected Results: To assess the effectiveness of self-instructional module on healthy sleep hygiene habits on quality of sleep, among arthritis patients. In this study self-instructional module on healthy sleep hygiene habits on quality of sleep will be useful in improving the arthritis patient’s knowledge. Conclusion: The conclusion will be drawn from the results and will be published in per review journal.
Chiari Malformation is a rare condition. A condition known as Chiari malformation occurs when brain tissue spreads into the spinal canal. When a portion of your skull is excessively small or malformed, it presses on your brain and forces it downward. Chiari malformation is a rare occurrence, although the increased use of imaging testing has resulted in more diagnosis. Case Presentation: A 18-year-old boy was admitted to the hospital with the following symptoms: Tingling sensation, numbness over left hand since 2 to 3 months. Neck bend toward right side, pain in left hand since 6 month. Difficulty during eating by hand since 2 to 3 month. On physical examination, indicated a bright attentive person with pale conjunctiva and no symptoms of icterus. He had a tachycardia, bilateral pitting pedal edema and a swollen abdomen with shifting dullness, all of which pointed to as cites. He had a history of intermittent abdominal pain. On admission he complaint of new onset of dyspnea on exertion, fatigue and abdominal swelling. The rest of all physical examination was normal, with no skin changes and an intact arterial pulses in all four extremities. Conclusion: The primary focus of this case study is on professional management and outstanding nursing care, which may provide the holistic care that Chiari Syndrome necessitates while also effectively managing the challenging case. After a full recovery, the patient's comprehensive health care team collaborates to help the patient regain his or her previous level of independence and satisfaction.
