The dominant complexities of English teaching in Indonesia are about limited development of teaching methods and materials which still cannot optimally reflect students' needs (in particular of how to acquire knowledge and select the most effective learning models). This research is to develop materials with complete task-based activities by using CALL at junior high school in Indonesia. In order to entirely develop comprehensive materials, the first step is to do need analysis especially identifying task based learning model which fulfils students' expectation, creates and develops pre task and task cycle (consisting of task, planning, and reporting) into CALL integration of learning module. The results of the students' needs show that they like to have appropriate materials for their level, related to real life, variety of media and sources of learning chiefly incorporated to computer which optimizes interactive, contextual, and authentic materials. Therefore, the design of its prototype consists of three main steps. First, pre-task activity, it is designed in observing and questioning stage which is done by providing English comics with thematic situations. Second, main task activities, it is designed in exploring and associating stage which are done by presenting real life situations by utilizing videos, songs, and stories which elaborate exercises, role play, and discussion sections. Finally, post task activity, it is designed in communicating stage and it is intended to provide follow-up activities in wider contexts. The evaluation of the final product is done by validating the materials by means of a group discussion with English teachers.

This study aimed to assess food and nutrients intake, Nutrient Dietary Quality (NDQ), and Desirable Dietary Pattern (DDP) score of children aged 2—6 years. This study was carried out through analyzing a consumption data set of the National Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) 2010 were collected using 24 hour recall method. Total number 16 675 of children aged 2—6 years. The results showed that most children eat cereals (99.4%) and least eat oily seeds (1.6%). The children had deficiency of energy, fats, and water. They also had deficiency of calcium, vitamin A, vitamin B9, and vitamin C. The mean DDP score of the children was 67.1±12.9. The mean NDQ of the children was 62.4±17.1. Correlation between DDP score and each of NDQ was found 0.578—0.621 that showed moderate validity result.

The quality of education is related to whether or not national education goals are achieved as stated in Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System. Therefore, the quality of education can be said it is good if it meets the National Education Standards. The fulfillment of minimum standards of education which is the National Standard of Education is a prerequisite to improve the quality of education including madrasah. The reality that emerges is the quality of education in Indonesia is still far from what is expected, let a quality in most madrasah which are still having many obstacles. Education has been one of the most affected sectors since the corona pandemic. Like many countries affected, the Indonesian government has taken several precautions needed to reduce the spread of the virus. This causes obstacles in all educational activities, especially in the teaching and learning process. This article aims to illustrate assistance in redesigning learning model in this pandemic period by applying an online service-learning approach. The results show that educators are given many choices of online media that can be used for the teaching and learning processes, ranging from social media (WhatsApp and Facebook), learning management systems media (google classroom, Edmodo), and video conferencing (Zoom, google meet). In redesigning this learning model, educators mostly used WhatsApp as the main media in delivering the material in online classes, while the Google Classroom LMS media was used for managing the students' assignments
Online Learning requires teachers to think creatively and innovatively to attract students. Learning media becomes the main factor in helping teachers make it happen. This study aims to find out the perception of English teachers in the use of canva application as a virtual learning media creation in Loei Thailand. This research applies mixed method design that starts with collecting quantitative data. After analyzing quantitative data, qualitative data is then collected and analyzed. 20 teachers were asked to fill out a questionnaire to find out their perspective on the use of Canva. This research has proven that canva application can be used to create learning media. The result in this research was the function and benefit of canva divided into two, namely as sumplemen and subtitusi. There are two prominent constraints of students' needs analysis; first, the identification of needs in teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP) merely focuses on two main dimensions, namely target needs and learning needs, and less to involve affective factors as the basis of all (including learning experience and achievement motivation). Second, there is a common notion that EAP learning is considered the same as general English so that the development of learning design often leads to English for General Academic Purposes (EGAP). This study aims to identify students' perception of learning experience and motivation for the prototype of learners' needs of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in Industrial engineering. Data were collected from 40 students using three types of questionnaires, namely about learning experiences, learning motivation, and learners' needs. The data of learners' needs was also taken from 8 lecturers as well as program managers. By using quantitative and descriptive analysis, this study showed that first, the students had reasonable learning experience, by being able to participate in the EAP program. Second, the students had strong motivation in achieving their goals. Third, the relationship between learning experience and achievement motivation was not significant and was not quite strong, implying that learning experiences were predicted not to affect students' learning motivation. Fourth, the students' needs lead to English for Specific Academic Purposes (ESAP) which is thus contradictory with the previous notion.
