Purpose of study: This study is conducted to identify the relationships between job performance, work-life balance and organizational justice towards employee's career satisfaction from one of the manufacturing companies in the north of Malaysia. Methodology: The study is done by utilizing a random sample of 240 employees in the company. Type of investigation is a correlation study and it is cross-sectional on time horizon. The unit of analysis is an individual level; therefore, all employees in the company have chances to serve as the participants in this study. Data has been analysed from 148 respondents. Results: Results show significant and positive relationships between job performance, work-life balance and organizational justice towards employees' career satisfaction. Organizational justice is the most significant factor in career satisfaction in this study (β=.83, p=.00). Other factors such as job performance (β=.71, p=.00), and work-life balance (β=.71, p=.00) also positively correlated with employees’ career satisfaction. Implications/Applications: These significant results imply that managers should provide good elements of justice in the company to raise the level of their employee's career satisfaction. At the same time, the employees should maintain a higher level of job performance as well as to manage the good working life balance in them.

Hypotheses for all direct effects between the predictors (eg. interpersonal communication and task design) and criterion (job performance) are tested using regression analysis. Result: Results presented that employees in this company have a high level of job performance (µ = 3.70); interpersonal communication (µ =3.64) and task design (µ =3.66). Also, positive correlations are found between employees’ performance and interpersonal communication (r=.53, p=.00) and task design (r=.54, p=.00). Implications: Thus, this research provided a fruitful knowledge regarding the level of employees’ performance as well as their internal communication and task design; among employees in one of the manufacturing company in Malaysia.
This study aims to investigate the relationship between interpersonal communication and task design towards job performance among employees from one of the Malaysian manufacturing company. The data is obtained from 152 employees from different levels of position. Both of hypotheses have been accepted based on the regression analysis results. Therefore, factors namely interpersonal communication and task design are found to be positively related with job performance among employees in this company. In detail, job performance is significantly related to interpersonal communication (r=.53) as well as task design (r=.54). As a conclusion, the management needs to enforce a good level of interpersonal communication and task design in order to increase the employees' performance level.
This research is devoted to identify the effects of several factors on career satisfaction in the context of manufacturing sector. The purpose of this research is to reveal the effects of job performance, work life balance and organizational justice on employees' career satisfaction. To analyse this effects, participants from manufacturing company in Penang have been taken as the sample of this research survey. Quantitative method is adopted, and this research received 62% responses out of 240 sample size. Findings of this research presented that there were significant effects of job performance, work life balance and organizational justice on career satisfaction among employees in this company. Organizations always have quest of finding the unique ways to enhance career satisfaction of the employees. Thus, this research would help to suggest on how an adequate job performance, work life balance and organizational justice would help to increase the level of employees' career satisfaction.
The public sector is a government agency in charge of planning and developing development in an area. The role of the public sector needs to be aligned with the mission and vision of the organization. The underlying role of the public sector in development has led to a number of issues arising such as less systematic development planning, less efficient information delivery systems, overlapping public-sector responsibilities and less efficient allocation of financial aid to local communities. Thus, this study was conducted to see the role of the public sector in the development of tourism in Pantai Chenang. Qualitative studies are conducted among local communities and public sector officials. A total of seven informants were involved in this study. The findings show that development planning carried out by the public sector is less involving the community. In addition, information on development in Pantai Chenang does not reach the local community. The financial assistance and government initiatives provided only benefit certain groups. The role of the public sector overlapping between agencies has made it difficult for the public to give opinions and ideas about development. Therefore, the public sector needs to improve the development planning, delivery system, the role of relevant agencies and the distribution of financial assistance to the community. Good relations between the public and community sectors need to be improved so that development planning in Pantai Chenang goes smoothly. The role of the public sector is important in the development of tourism in Pantai Chenang which is seen as a leader in achieving Premier Beach Resort Destination in the Asia Pacific.
Less controlled development at Chenang Beach created an unhealthy environment in the area. In fact, most of the built buildings are not approved by the local agencies. Hence, the purpose of this study is to identify the impact of development received by the community based on the effectiveness of development at Chenang Beach. Using stratified and systematic random sampling methods, this study was conducted in five villages within Chenang Beach area. Questionnaire were set up and distributed to 368 respondents. The findings show that there is a significant and negative relationship between the location of development and the impact of development. Whereas, in terms of planned development projects, the findings show that there is no relationship between the development project and the impact of development. However, the study also revealed significant finding, that is, when more areas are being developed, the acceptance among the local community are declining. In addition, this study also shows that development projects undertaken by the government or the private sector do not affect the society as a whole. Therefore, the need for planning and development begins from the aspirations of the local community so that the development implemented has a positive impact on society.
BIM or Building Information Modelling is the latest technology that widely used in industry such as architecture, engineering dan construction. Hence, it plays a role in increasing value in architectural education in line with industrial need. It is imperative that architectural BIM been used in education level to produce highly skilled students. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of BIM in the field of Architectural Technology Certificate in Community College through BIM Architecture. It aims to examine the relationship between interest and skills towards student attitudes. Then identify the influence of interest and skills on student attitudes. This study used quantitative method of questionnaire. Data were collected from 30 students of Architectural Technology from 2 Community College from population of 45 respondents. The two Community Colleges involved are Bandar Darulaman Community College and Kepala Batas Community College. Results presented there was strong correlation between attitudes and skills which is significant (r=0.566, p=0.01). In detail, attitude and interest (r=0.406, p=0.26) were positively ang significantly correlated with skills. In addition, the results of the analysis also showed that the skills influence the attitude with β= 0.481 which is considered as 48.1 percent from the total percentage. Whilst, the interest did not influence the attitude of the students in studying BIM Architecture (r= 0.178, p=0.275). Hence, this indication the effectiveness of BIM Architecture in education influenced by the attitude and encouraged students to be interested in Architectural BIM. While skill is within the TVET application in learning of todays community college. It is also evident that the interest does not influence the attitude of the students in learning of Architectural BIM. Difference with skills that could influenced the attitudes towards more skilled and diligent in the learning of Architectural BIM. The results of this study help in enforcement of the implications of learning Architectural BIM at the Department of Polytechnic and Community College.
