Gigi Molar atau yang sering disebut dengan gigi geraham adalah gigi yang paling sering digunakan dalam proses pencernaan makanan sebelum masuk ke dalam lambung. Hal ini pun membuat Gigi Molar menjadi salah satu penyakit yang sangat banyak diderita oleh masyarakat. Hal ini pun diiringi dengan rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat seputar Gigi Molar. Banyaknya masyarakat yang menderita penyakit Gigi Molar ini tidak sebanding dengan ketersediaan pakar gigi sehingga menyebabkan tidak terlayaninya semua pasien yang ingin mendiagnosa penyakitnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Forward Chaining atau penelusuran maju. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji metode Forward Chaining dalam menganalisis penyakit Gigi Molar dan memberikan diagnosis awal terhadap penyakit Gigi Molar sehingga diagnosis yang dihasilkan oleh sistem dapat menjadi acuan untuk konsultasi dengan dokter gigi. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data gejala dan penyakit Gigi Molar yang diambil dari klinik gigi Munggu Dental Care data yang diperoleh berupa 29 data gejala dan 7 data penyakit Gigi Molar. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diproses menggunakan metode inferensi Forward Chaining atau penelusuran dari depan. Kemudian pasien akan diminta memilih gejala yang dirasakan lalu sistem akan mendiagnosis penyakit pasien berdasarkan gejala yang diinputkan oleh pasien. Data yang masuk ke sistem kemudian akan dicocokkan dengan rule yang ada pada database sehingga akan dihasilkan sebuah diagnosis awal. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah metode Forward Chaining yang dirancang dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP menggunakan framework Codeigniter ini mampu menganalisis penyakit pada Gigi Molar dengan sangat akurat. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk penelitian-penelitian selanjutnya dan Sistem Pakar yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan oleh pengguna yang ingin mendiagnosa penyakit Gigi Molar sebelum ke dokter gigi
