Summary:Aim. The study aimed to investigate the role of job burnout and depression in self-destructive behaviour among the Islamic Republic of Iran Army personnel. Method. For the purpose of this study, a conceptual structural model, Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), was designed and examined. Participants were 215 active duty personnel who completed a series of questionnaires to assess their mental health, level of burnout and propensity for depression.Results. The measurement model revealed that all indicators except self-efficacy had significant factor weight on their latent variable; therefore, the model was revised by omitting it. The modified measurement model showed good fitness according to five indices. The structural model results showed that both burnout (β=0.24) and depression (β=0.56) have a direct effect on self-destructive behaviour; burnout influenced depression indirectly (β=0.56) and it has an indirect (β=0.35) and a total effect (β=0.59) on self-destructive behaviour. Finally, the fitness indices of the structural model indicated relatively good fitness. Conclusions. Burnout and depression directly increase the tendency to self-destruction among military personnel. Background: The quality of the marital relationship has received more attention from family researchers in recent years; as many factors can affect and be affected by it. Therefore, this study made an attempt to investigate the structural relationships between anxiety attachment style, anger rumination. Methods: The study population consisted of all married people in Shiraz. Among them, 204 married people (168 females and 36 males) were selected using the convenience sampling method and filling out Revised Adult Attachment Scale; Collins and Reid, Anger rumination scale; Sukhodolsky, Golub, Cromwell, Family Forgiveness Scale; Pollard, Anderson, Anderson, and Jennings, and Revision of the Dyadic Adjustment Scale Busby, Christensen, Crane, Larson. The method of research was correlation using path analysis. Then AMOS24 and SPSS24 were used for analyzing the data. Results: Data analysis indicated that the path between anxiety attachment style to anger rumination, (p<0.000, β=0.56), spouse forgiveness, (p<0.009, β=-0.19), anger rumination to spouse forgiveness, (p<0.002, β=-0.36) marital quality (p<0.001, β=-0.16), spouse forgiveness to marital quality, (p<0.000, β=-0.68) were significant. All the coefficients were significant in 0.01 level. Also fit model indicators were: GFI=0.99, CFI=0.99, TLI=0.98, RFI=0.97 and χ2/df= 1.57. The structural relationships of the anxiety attachment style, anger rumination, spouse forgiveness and the marital quality as proposed in the conceptual model were significant. Conclusion: Based on the results, it can be said that that married people with anxious attachment style regarding the challenges of marital life, ruminate more anger in relation to their spouse, which can reduce the amount of forgiveness and, ultimately marital quality.

Background and Objectives One of the ways to deal with Covid-19 disease is 19 preventive behaviors that seem to be affected by different factors. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to predict the preventive behaviors of Covid- 19 disease based on health literacy with the mediating role of media information belief and social responsibility. Subjects and Methods This descriptive and correlational study was performed on 247 adults in Ahvaz in the summer of 2020. The research sample was selected using available sampling and they answered online the questionnaires whose validity and reliability were confirmed.. Data were analyzed using Spss, Amose software, descriptive and analytical statistics. Results The results showed that the indirect coefficients between believing in media information (P=0.000, β=0.04) and social responsibility (P=0.000, β=0.11) with preventive behaviors of corona disease were significant. The proposed research model also had a good fit (RMSEA= 0.05, P=0.20, X2/df: 1.63, X2: 1.63). Conclusion The results showed that health literacy is both directly and indirectly related to corona disease prevention behaviors through belief in media information and social responsibility. Therefore, to increase the preventive behaviors of corona disease in individuals, we can use the influence of the media and strengthen social responsibility in individuals.
