O artigo apresenta um relato da experiência realizada durante a sindemia de COVID-19, a partir das ações de implantação de sistemas agroflorestais voltados para a inclusão produtiva, a saúde e a qualidade de vida na Aldeia Koyakati - Terra Indígena Mãe Maria -, em Bom Jesus do Tocantins-sudeste do Pará. Essas ações integram o projeto ArticulaFito e resultam de um diagnóstico da base produtiva nacional de plantas medicinais e produtos da sociobiodiversidade, onde a necessidade de recuperação e conservação de áreas degradadas foi apontada como um fator de fragilidade das relações produtivas, especialmente no que tange aos territórios de populações e comunidades tradicionais, pressionados por modelos produtivos predatórios que impactam negativamente os modos de vida e a saúde dessas populações. A metodologia Value Links-B foi aplicada no diagnóstico com vistas à elaboração de um plano de ação voltado para os desafios diagnosticados na cadeia da castanha-do-brasil (Bertholletia excelsa Bonpl.), espécie categorizada como ameaçada de extinção por declínio populacional. Em seguida, indica os sistemas agroflorestais, para garantir o manejo adequado das espécies agroextrativistas nativas e, desse modo, conservar a biodiversidade, bem como garantir o acesso à matéria-prima. As ações de implantação de Unidade de Experimentação Agroecológica (UEA) são aqui descritas, com o objetivo de fortalecer os sistemas produtivos e, assim, gerar emprego e renda, no intuito de melhorar os indicadores de saúde nesses territórios.
