Objetivo: Descrever os cuidados de enfermagem direcionados às complicações pós-confecção de estoma de eliminação intestinal. Métodos: Revisão integrativa de literatura realizada nas bases de dados da Lilacs, Medline e BDENF, através do cruzamento dos descritores para responder à pergunta condutora. Foram considerados como critérios de inclusão: ser artigo original, publicado em português, disponível na integra e publicado entre 2015-2020. O recorte temporal foi realizado para garantir atualização dos dados. Resultados: Foram encontrados 1.115 artigos nas três bases de dados pesquisadas, ficando na amostra final sete publicações que abordavam o tema proposto. As publicações enquadraram-se no recorte temporal de 2015-2020: nos anos 2015 (14,28%), 2016 (14,28%), 2019 (42,85%) e 2020 (28,59%). Os anos de 2017 e 2018 não apresentaram resultados elegíveis para compor a amostra. A BDENF abrangeu 57,14% e a Lilacs 42,85% das publicações, enquanto a Medline não apresentou resultados que atendessem aos objetivos do estudo. Conclusão: A educação em saúde voltada ao autocuidado e a prevenção de complicações secundárias às cirurgias de confecção de estoma de eliminação intestinal são de suma importância para que seja conferida ao paciente uma assistência integral e livre de danos.
Introdução: As infecções relacionadas a assistência à saúde (IRAS) representam um grande obstáculo à recuperação da saúde de pacientes críticos internados em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) e sua magnitude pode resultar em prolongamento da internação, sequelas incapacitantes e óbito. A principal forma de combate à infecção cruzada remete às condutas da equipe multiprofissional no âmbito hospitalar. A lavagem das mãos foi eleita a medida mais simples e de maior importância no controle das infecções hospitalares, infecções cruzadas e comunitárias, por representar uma atividade de fácil execução e baixo custo econômico. Objetivo: Analisar as produções científicas sobre o conhecimento da enfermagem em infecção cruzada na UTI neonatal. Métodos: Revisão integrativa da literatura realizada em junho de 2021 através do cruzamento dos descritores nas bases da Lilacs, DOAJ, Medline e BDEnf. Resultados: Dos 282 artigos encontrados, seis responderam a pergunta condutora e foram selecionados para amostra. Os estudos evidenciaram que a equipe de enfermagem possui grande conhecimento sobre os fatores que facilitam a prevenção e controle das infecções hospitalares, principalmente das infecções cruzadas em UTI, sendo a técnica principal, a higienização das mãos. Conclusão: Os dados obtidos desvelam que os profissionais de saúde conhecem os mecanismos para prevenção, mas não o colocam em prática.
