ChemInform Abstract The structures of the trichlorodimolybdenum complex (IV) (space group P21/c, Z=4) and of the title complexes (VIa) (C2/c, Z=4) and (VIb) (yield ca. 30%; P2/c, Z=4) are determined by X-ray analysis. The Mo-C distances in (IV) and (VIa) are compared to those of other Mo2X4(PR3)4 compounds, and it is shown that the Mo atom in such compounds displays an essentially constant covalent radius of 1.40 ±0.02å.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
