Este artigo analisa a produção de sentido do coletivo Mídia Ninja, na sua página no Facebook, no que diz respeito ao habeas corpus concedido (e depois negado) ao ex-presidente do Brasil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, no dia 8 de julho de 2018. O trabalho utiliza como metodologia a Análise de Discurso baseada no modelo tridimensional de Fairclough (2001). A pesquisa problematiza o caráter midiativista da Mídia Ninja, ao concluir que o grupo atuou a favor de libertação de Lula, a partir de uma narrativa centralizada e multimidiática (textos escritos, fotos, charges, vídeos e emissões ao vivo) aliada a uma estratégia discursiva contra-hegemônica, elegendo adversários (a exemplo do juiz Sérgio Moro) e heróis (como Lula e o então pré-candidato à presidência, Guilherme Boulos), e apontando a situação como parte de um golpe articulado pela mídia tradicional e por setores das classes política e judiciária.
Com a efervescência dos estudos em jornalismo, as constantes críticas e os sucessivos esforços de se delimitar epistemológica e metodologicamente a área, o presente artigo coloca em discussão os trabalhos sobre o agenda-setting, ou do agendamento da mídia, questionando o sucesso que a abordagem alcançou nacionalmente. A partir de uma análise empírica, com base em papers apresentados nos principais fóruns das ciências da comunicação no Brasil, examinamos como essa tradição é reapropriada pelos pesquisadores brasileiros, quais as metodologias usadas e se há acúmulo de conhecimento.
ResumoNo artigo discutimos as relações entre a noção de liberdade de imprensa e a construção da identidade profissional no jornalismo. Como ponto de partida, faremos uma revisão da concepção liberdade de imprensa formulada inicialmente pelos filósofos do Iluminismo. Analisaremos como esses conceitos fazem parte do discurso de autolegitimação da profissão jornalística e participa da identidade do grupo profissional dos jornalistas. AbstractThis paper discuss the relations between the conception of freedom of press and the construction of a professional identity on journalism. As a departure point, we do bibliographical revision of the press freedom definition as it was initially elaborated by Illuminist philosophers. After that, we investigate how such concepts integrate journalists' self-legitimating discourse and also how it participates on the construction of their identity.

A pandemia da covid-19 tem desafiado a humanidade, com implicações alarmantes. Por essa razão, também há uma forte preocupação com a circulação de informações falsas que atrapalham a luta contra a doença e comprometem o cumprimento de orientações seguras para prevenção e tratamento da infecção. Neste artigo, analisamos as ações empregadas para combater esse tipo de conteúdo através do projeto Saúde sem Fake News do Ministério da Saúde, enquanto estava ativo, e propomos a elaboração de uma nova categorização das verificações classificadas pelo canal como “Isto é fake news!”, a partir do conceito e da metodologia de desordem da informação. Como resultado, identificamos que o canal adotou uma postura reativa que se limitava a atestar a veracidade ou falsidade das verificações, sem problematizar as suas especificidades, ignorando os aspectos essenciais para o efetivo combate da desinformação.
