Las energías renovables y la gestión ecológica son temas complementarios que nos inducen a pensar en la problemática actual: el cambio climático y su imparable aumento de consecuencias negativas con fuertes impactos en los sistemas humanos y naturales. En este artículo se discute la necesidad de incluir el concepto de energías limpias en las empresas; para ello es esencial que se inculque una actitud y conciencia ecológica en la sociedad y por consecuencia, se conciba un cambio estructural en organizaciones tanto públicas como privadas. Mediante la revisión documentaria de artículos científicos en el repositorio de Scopus, se seleccionan aquellas que se encuentren entre los cuartiles 1 y 2, y que proporcionen información novedosa sobre las nuevas regulaciones enfocadas en las energías renovables promovidas por los gobiernos de acuerdo a la ubicación geográfica. Los resultados logran establecer las estructuras que han tomado las naciones modernas respecto a una novedosa gestión ecológica asociada con fuentes renovables; y las estrategias que mejor destacan respecto a las energías renovables que, al implantarse junto a una correcta gestión ecológica, resultan en grandes avances como bonanzas económicas, ambientales y sociales.
