Introdução: o ambiente hospitalar apresenta riscos advindos de fatores físicos, biológicos, químicos e psicossociais. Assim, ampliar as possibilidades de cuidado à saúde dos funcionários é fundamental para as instituições. Objetivo: avaliar as respostas físicas e de comportamento nutricional e psicológico, apresentadas por trabalhadores da saúde, a uma intervenção multiprofissional. Método: intervenção do tipo estudo-piloto, com 16 funcionários, alocados em grupo experimental(n=9) e grupo controle(n=7), de um hospital de ensino. O programa contemplou exercícios físicos, orientação nutricional e psicológica. Os dados coletados foram analisados por metodologia qualitativa-quantitativa. Resultados: identificou-se a autoestima como elemento importante para mudanças. Verificou-se no grupo intervenção aumento da disposição e autoestima, maiores níveis de flexibilidade (p=0,011), força e resistência abdominal (p=0,015), e reduções no consumo de bolachas/biscoitos salgados (p=0,014) e refrigerantes (p=0,026). Para o grupo controle houve aumento apenas no número de abdominais em um minuto (p=0,046). Conclusão: o programa multiprofissional impactou no alcance de melhores indicadores de saúde para os trabalhadores no grupo experimental, incluindo aumento da autoestima, disposição, níveis de flexibilidade, força e resistência abdominal, bem como menor consumo de refrigerantes e biscoitos salgados.
