RESUMO:Tratar da inclusão educacional de pessoas com deficiência (PCD) não é propriamente um tema novo no cenário brasileiro. Tomando a Constituição Federal de 1988 como marco legal e histórico, é possível afirmar que, há pelo menos 30 anos, a temática da inclusão educacional vem ganhando relevo no campo das políticas educacionais, da investigação em educação e das práticas docentes. Por outro lado, quando tratamos da inclusão no ensino superior nos deparamos com uma situação contrária. Tanto as políticas públicas quanto a produção de conhecimento são muito recentes, o que configura a inclusão de PCD no ensino superior ainda um campo aberto, com muitas frentes de pesquisa, nas diferentes áreas do conhecimento. Um dos temas de investigação que se impõem é a docência no ensino superior e os desafios que os professores enfrentam frente à inclusão de PCD nas universidades. Considerando o tema exposto, o artigo tem como objetivo fazer uma reflexão sobre o quanto o acesso de estudantes com deficiência no ensino superior, em especial a partir da política de reserva de vagas (Lei 13.409/2016), tem impactado no cotidiano das salas de aula, em particular nas práticas docentes. Realizamos uma revisão de literatura, a partir de uma pesquisa na base de dados do Scielo (Scientific Electronic Library Online), entre 2008 e 2018, buscando por artigos sobre a docência no ensino superior e a inclusão de PCD. Os textos foram quantificados e analisados qualitativamente, buscando identificar os desafios encontrados no contexto da docência no ensino superior frente à inclusão. A complexidade envolvida no processo de inclusão de PCD no ensino superior é grande, em especial no que toca à atuação do docente. Os artigos nos sinalizam diferentes desafios à prática docente que vão desde a sua postura diante de estudantes com deficiência até a sua capacidade de ressignificar e modificar a sua prática tendo a inclusão como um princípio pedagógico.
O presente trabalho apresenta resultados parciais do projeto de extensão interface com a pesquisa “Formação de professores de Sociologia: da Universidade à sala de aula da Educação Básica” desenvolvido na Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora que tem como objetivo pesquisar os professores de sociologia da Rede Estadual de ensino em suas dimensões formativas e pedagógicas, bem como estabelecer com eles uma formação continuada. Esse projeto se justifica tendo em vista os desafios que foram postos a partir da obrigatoriedade do ensino de sociologia, como: fortalecimento da disciplina; necessidade de definição de um currículo e de materiais didáticos; vencer o dualismo existente nas universidades entre bacharelado e licenciatura; e, dentre outros, pensar a formação inicial e continuada dos professores. Para o desenvolvimento do projeto foi aplicado questionário aos professores de sociologia para identificação do perfil e encontros para realização de oficinas de formação envolvendo professores da educação básica, do ensino superior e licenciandos em ciências sociais da UFJF a partir dos conteúdos curriculares de sociologia.
RESUMO:A docência no ensino superior deve ser o objeto de investigação das instituições e seus gestores, em virtude da importância que tem para os pilares do ensino, da pesquisa e da extensão. Vamos tratar neste dossiê temático sobre o que está acontecendo, neste momento, com relação à docência, envolvendo as nuances dessa atuação profissional nos campos político, pedagógico e sociocultural. O docente do ensino superior ocupa-se e cumpre uma extensa programação profissional, que ultrapassa o elaborar e o ministrar aulas. No dia a dia da universidade, os professores têm como responsabilidade a participação e a coordenação de projetos de pesquisa, preparação de relatórios, orientações de trabalhos de conclusão de curso, produção de artigos científicos e outras atividades, sustentando o tripé do ensino, da pesquisa e da extensão. Exercer essas atividades profissionais exige tempo, energia e dedicação. Diante do exposto, existe também a preocupação de melhorar a formação pedagógica do docente no ensino superior, que é realizada nos cursos de pós-graduação stricto sensu e tem se mostrado uma alternativa momentaneamente válida, entretanto existem controvérsias e questionamentos.PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Docência. RESUMO: O artigo aqui apresentado tem como proposta relatar e refletir sobre como os processos de inclusão vêm sendo construídos na Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF). Entre as iniciativas que a UFJF tem priorizado, destacaremos a criação do Núcleo de Apoio à Inclusão (NAI) e, mais pontualmente, a criação de uma modalidade de bolsa de treinamento profissional (TP) voltada para o assessoramento ao NAI e o acompanhamento acadêmico dos estudantes com deficiência. Tal projeto tem nos trazido muitos desafios e, ao mesmo tempo, revelado o quanto é importante que os estudantes que não possuem deficiência se vejam como promotores de ações inclusivas e, com os estudantes com deficiência, construam uma universidade mais inclusiva para todos. Para demonstrar o que acabamos de afirmar, utilizaremos alguns trechos das cartas de intenção que os estudantes escreveram para concorrer às bolsas como elementos discursivos importantes para ilustrar a relevância da necessidade de ampliar as práticas inclusivas no interior das universidades e outras instituições de ensino. Os textos dos estudantes revelam aspectos essenciais sobre diferentes nuances da inclusão. Os resultados desta análise apontam que a UFJF, por meio do NAI, vem construindo uma experiência com potencial para desencadear culturas, políticas e práticas de inclusão na comunidade acadêmica, tendo os estudantes como principais protagonistas.
