Adressierung durch den Raum -(Lieblings-)Plätze in der Schule Eine fotoethnographische Exploration Einleitung »... die der Spirale angenäherte Gehlinie erschließt die Säle nicht axial, sondern eher tangential. Man kann den Saal jeweils mit einem Blick überschauen. Durch die Lage der konstruktiven Scheiben entsteht eine leichte Drehbewegung im uhrzeigersinn und in Richtung der Gehlinie. Lediglich, wer den kürzesten Weg entlang der Treppenscheibe sucht, bewegt sich eine kurze Distanz gegen den Strom« (Achleitner 1997). In dieser Passage eines Buches, das einen Bau des Schweizer Architekten Peter Zumthor vorstellt, wird die Art und Weise beschrieben, wie sich die Ausstellungsräume des Bregenzer Kunsthauses einem Besucher darstellen. Durch die besondere Beschaffenheit räumlicher Elemente -insbesondere die Lage der konstruktiven Scheiben, also der seitlichen Wände -wird ihm eine bestimmte Weise des Durchwanderns der Ausstellung nahegelegt. Diese Bewegung führt im uhrzeigersinn an den Scheiben entlang. Ein anderer Weg durch die Ausstellungsräume drängt sich nicht auf, muss ausdrücklich gegen eine bestimmte Anmutung gewählt werden -etwa der kürzeste Weg, den man, entgegen dem Besucherstrom und einer Wand folgend, jener des Treppenhauses, einschlagen könnte. Die Bewegung, das Einschlagen eines bestimmten Weges wird durch den Ausstellungsraum, unabhängig von der Hängung der Bilder, über die räumliche Gestaltung des Baus nahegelegt. Man könnte fast sagen, der Raum selbst richte sich an den Besucher und fordere ihn auf, dieser »Gehlinie« zu folgen. Anders formuliert: Der Ausstellungsraum adressiert den Besucher als einen, der gerade nicht den kürzesten Weg sucht, als Kunstliebhaber, der die Zeit vergisst, sich bereitwillig -und nicht widerständig -von der Positionierung der Wände durch den Raum geleiten lässt.In diesem Beispiel erscheint eine Adressierung von Personen, in denen diese als bestimmte Subjekte angesprochen werden, durch den gebauten Raum oder durch dessen materiale Eigenschaften ebenso möglich wie die Adressierung in einem Sprechakt.
