einer aktuellen Untersuchung des Umweltbundesamtes von 2014 hervor [1]. Beim Flugverkehr sowie Schienenverkehr sind es noch über 20 % bzw. 16 % der Bevölkerung. Auch die Belästigung durch laute Nachbarn ist mit 40 % ein wichtiger störender Faktor. Dennoch liegt der Straßenverkehrslärm mit 54 % belästigten Bürgern an der Spitze. Laut einem Urteil des Bundesverwaltungsgerichts von 1976 definiert sich eine Wohnung im juristischen Sinn als Gebäude "innerhalb [dessen] eine durch Außengeräusche nicht beeinträchtigte Entfaltung des Lebens der Bewohner möglich ist" und das sowohl tags als auch nachts [2]. Ziel soll es also sein den Schallschutz dahingehend zu verbessern, dass der Bewohner weniger durch den hohen Anteil an Außenlärm beeinträchtigt wird. Hierbei stellen sich die Fragen, welche Maßstäbe hinsichtlich des zulässigen Innenpegels anzusetzen sind und welche Richtlinien und Normen inwieweit bei der Bemessung eines aus zivilrechtlicher Sicht ausreichenden Schallschutzes Anwendung finden: -DIN 4109:1989-11 Schallschutz im Hochbau [3], sowie die neuere Ausgabe -DIN 4109:2016-07 Teil 1 und 2 [4] [5] -VDI 2719:1987-08 Schallschutz von Fenstern und deren Zusatzeinrichtungen [6] -24. BImSchV Verkehrswege-Schallschutzmaßnahmen [7] Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich hierbei speziell mit der Bemessung des Schallschutzes von Fenstern nach VDI 2719:1987-08. 2 Stand der Technik 2.1 Grundlagen der VDI 2719 Neben den verschiedenen Einflüssen auf die Schalldämmung von Fenstern definiert die VDI 2719 [6] verschiedene Schallschutzklassen, anzustrebende Innenpegel und Anforderungen an die Schalldämmung der Außenbauteile. Die Einteilung in Schallschutzklassen von 1 bis 6 erfolgt anhand des bewerteten Schalldämm-Maßes R′ w in 5 dB Schritten. Der anzustrebende Innenpegel ist in Abhängigkeit der Raumart vorgegeben und beträgt in reinen Wohngebieten für Wohnräume tagsüber 30 bis 35 dB und in Schlafräumen 25 bis 30 dB, insofern vom Mittelungspegel L m ausgegangen wird. Gegenstand dieser Arbeit ist die Untersuchung des Bemessungsansatzes der VDI Richtlinie -VDI 2719/1987-08 für den Schallschutz von Fenstern unter Berücksichtigung verschiedener Außenlärmpegelspektren. Das Leitmotiv stellt die Problematik der heute in der Praxis festgestellten Fehlbemessung des Schallschutzes bei Verwendung der in VDI 2719 enthaltenen Korrektursummanden dar. Der Ansatz zur Verwendung verschiedener Korrektursummanden in VDI 2719/1987-08 basiert auf einer 1985 vom Umweltbundesamt in Auftrag gegebenen Forschungsarbeit von Moll und Szabunia. Die K-Summanden berücksichtigen sowohl die Frequenzabhängigkeit der Fenster-Schalldämmung als auch der Spektren des Außenlärms, welche sich beide im Laufe der Zeit verändert haben. Mit dieser Arbeit soll eine Basis geschaffen werden, auf der -anhand heute typischer Konstruktionen und Außenlärmsituationen -die erforderliche Schalldämmung der Fenster ohne erhebliche Über-oder Unterbemessung des Schallschutzes ermittelt werden kann.
