Este artigo decorre da pesquisa para obtenção do título de mestre em Desenvolvimento Territorial Sustentável pela UFPR, na qual se buscou compreender como a ludicidade, o brincar e as brincadeiras ocorrem na comunidade Pindoty (terra de muitos coqueiros) no litoral do Paraná. Algumas questões surgiram no processo deste trabalho: 1) O campo disciplinar é forma recente de organizar o conhecimento? 2) O que podemos aprender com os nossos ancestrais? 3) Qual a relação entre os elementos encontrados no cotidiano da comunidade Pindoty com a transdisciplinaridade de Nicolescu? Nesse sentido, a pesquisa teve o intuito de conhecer qual a realidade do brincar e das brincadeiras na constituição do ser indígena. A pesquisa contou com um processo investigativo caracterizado com a abordagem qualitativa e descritiva, por meio da pesquisa de campo, com enfoque na abordagem fenomenológica. Observou-se que a ludicidade, o brincar e a brincadeira são constituintes da cultura indígena da tekoa Pindoty e seu território, tendo como base sua ancestralidade e cosmovisão. Com a pesquisa de campo e aprofundamento teórico da dissertação, foi possível observar que a comunidade possui uma postura transdisciplinar, analisada neste texto a partir de aspectos transdisciplinares propostos por Basarab Nicolescu. A dinâmica interativa, amparada em matriz fenomenológica e transdisciplinar, proporcionou subsídios para a compreensão desta cultura a partir da ótica lúdica e da utilização do brincar como estratégia de fortalecimento da cultura local, como espaço de educação formal e não formal dessa comunidade apontando um processo formativo de natureza transdisciplinar, ética e decolonial tão necessárias atualmente.
