Balancing the role of a housewife and working mother in the context of a dual earner family, is not easy. The issue of time sharing and childcare is sometimes a major problem. This makes working mothers vulnerable to multiple role conflicts. The method in this study uses qualitative descriptive aimed at knowing the dual role conflict of working mothers on dual earner family, especially in the context of patriarchal culture in Indonesia. The study subjects were working mothers on dual earner family, who had children under 18. The results showed that the form of conflict experienced by working mothers is work to family conflict with different dimensions of conflict. The whole subject experienced conflicts in work and family related to childcare as women's roles in patriarchal culture in Indonesia put women as the main leads in parenting. Perception of gender roles and family support have an important role on dual role conflict experienced by working mothers.
