Introdução: O ruído é realidade em grande parte das atividades industriais, sendo capaz de provocar efeitos que vão além da perda auditiva, como cefaleia, alterações de sono, alteração no equilíbrio corporal, desregulação da pressão arterial, problemas no estômago, estresse e outros fatores emocionais como baixa tolerância, ansiedade, isolamento, dificuldades nas relações familiares, baixa autoestima e depressão. Objetivo: Investigar a ocorrência dos efeitos não auditivos dos trabalhadores expostos a ruído e produtos químicos em segmento da produção de calçados. Métodos: A pesquisa realizada é do tipo descritiva, observacional e transversal, com abordagem quantitativa. Foram analisados os dados de 392 trabalhadores expostos ao ruído, de ambos os sexos, de uma empresa de calçados localizada na Região Metropolitana de João Pessoa/PB. Os dados foram obtidos através de entrevistas utilizando o Protocolo de Impacto do Ruído na Saúde do Trabalhador proposto por Santos, Andrade e Soares (2021). Resultados: Os efeitos não auditivos mais citados pelos trabalhadores foram ansiedade (77,80%), cansaço físico (75,51%), cansaço mental (67,34%), cefaleia (63,38%), irritação (63,01%) e estresse (61,73%). Conclusão: Percebeu-se uma alta prevalência de efeitos não auditivos na população exposta a ruído, o que torna necessário um maior cuidado da equipe de saúde e segurança do trabalho, no que tange à aplicação das normas regulamentadoras, como também maior conscientização dos trabalhadores no que diz respeito ao uso contínuo dos equipamentos de proteção individual para otimização da saúde no âmbito ocupacional.
