El presente documento muestra el informe acerca de la propagación del virus COVID-19 en Ecuador, durante los meses más críticos de la pandemia. El análisis se realizó aplicando técnicas de estadística descriptiva a través de gráficos generados en software libre RStudio. El estudio estadístico aplicó una base de datos que muestra los registros diarios de contagios y defunciones por provincia, durante 187 días. Los tipos de gráficos empleados como diagramas de barras y dispersión dinámicos se encuentran en función de los distintos días de estudio. Además, un mapa geográfico de todo el país, donde se aprecia el nivel de afectación en cada zona. De esta manera se pudo evidenciar que las provincias más afectadas eran Guayas y Pichincha, mismas que son consideradas las más pobladas del Ecuador.
El presente artículo tiene como objeto de estudio el analizar la incidencia que han tenido las aplicaciones web en la industria 4.0 para el control de cobros de servicios prestados, a fin de poder comprobar su demanda y acogida de parte del mercado durante los últimos años. Como métodos empleados, se trabajó mediante un diseño investigativo relacional, con método cualitativo para la recolección de datos, mediante lo cual se seleccionaron un total de 50 documentos e informes de distintas fuentes de información y bases de datos que sean afines al tema de estudio, definiendo una muestra por conveniencia de 25 de ellos para llevar a cabo la revisión y análisis respectivo. Una vez aplicado el algoritmo de búsqueda, mediante el cual se fue seleccionado trabajos documentales de no más allá de cinco años de antigüedad, considerando su pertinencia y rigor científico, filtrado los de mayor relevancia para el estudio. A partir de ello, como resultados obtenidos, se obtuvo que el 91% de las empresas analizadas ha podido recuperar su cartera vencida durante los últimos años gracias a los sistemas de cobros web. Con base a ello, se concluye que la mayor parte de las empresas de Latinoamérica opta por hacer uso de estos sistemas dentro de las áreas de comercio y finanzas, lo cual permite comprobar que la demanda y acogida de estas aplicaciones es realmente amplia debido a sus beneficios y aporte significativo en el ámbito empresarial.
