Este artículo presenta la investigación realizada con víctimas de la Operación Berlín. El propósito fue reconstruir las narrativas de la memoria y el impacto psicosocial desde su perspectiva. La revisión documental ratifica que hay muy pocos estudios sobre la temática desde la mirada de quienes lo vivieron directamente, así mismo, muestra que las versiones circulantes tienen como fuente primordial al Ejército colombiano, lo cual expone la necesidad de realizar este trabajo. El método de investigación fue cualitativo con diseño narrativo, para lo cual se analizaron 113 documentos y se realizaron 9 entrevistas. El registro y categorización se hizo en el software Atlas Ti; el análisis se llevó a cabo en tres fases: análisis textual, contextual y metatextual. Los resultados revelan que durante el operativo ocurrieron múltiples violaciones de derechos humanos y que las versiones que circulan no han considerado la voz de las víctimas.
