This study highlights the concept of capacity analysis along with traffic operations in urban areas in India. First chapter indicates the introduction of this study through which research aims and objectives can be analysed properly. Moreover, research background and rationale of this study can be also highlighted in this chapter. The second chapter discusses the literature review due to which process of traffic operations and capacity analysis of vehicles can be analysed properly. Using model and theories of traffic flow can help in managing the complexities and issues in traffic management system in urban areas in India. The third chapter defines the research methodology through which tools and techniques regarding this research can be analysed successfully. Using philosophy, approach, design and data collection process, adequate information regarding traffic operations and capacity can be recognised properly.
Speed prediction models help in providing opportunities in gathering specific information regarding traffic control processes. This study explored the introduction chapter through which aim and objectives can be analysed properly. The literature review section also highlighted specific requirements of traffic conditions and theoretical concepts of traffic management systems. The Methodology chapter provided a specific method for data collection and other processes of this research study through which structured information can be gathered properly. The experimental and thematic analysis helped in identifying all possible factors that are responsible for finding the speed and density of traffic management processes.
The study aims to provide evidential measures to showcase the current traffic conditions of Delhi, India. The study provides strategic measures that enable the management of traffic congestion so as to develop the economic and environmental conditions. The study has been conducted based on situational analysis providing effective strategies that addresses the congestion solutions. Moreover the solutions that have been devised has been aligned to that of its affectivity in application. Conclusions have been driven to recommend future solution to the traffic congestion problem.
