Background: Swedish massage is one of the common treatments to provide optimal start and readiness of athletes. The ability of kinesthetic differentiation (KD) is crucial in sport performance. This skill allows to adapt demanded muscle forces to optimize the motor tasks, and it is responsible for the precision. In the literature, there is no evidence how Swedish massage influences the kinesthetic differentiation.Purpose: The objective of the study was to evaluate the impact of Swedish massage on the kinesthetic differentiation and muscle strength of hand grip.Methods: Thirty participants took part in this investigation (17 women and 13 men). The assessment consisted of KD tests conducted on the dominant (DH) and nondominant hand (NDH) after 15 minutes of hand and forearm Swedish massage. The procedure consisted of 13 trials for each extremity. The first three were done for 100% of the participants' capabilities (F max ), the next five trials were done using 50% of maximum force (50% of F max ), and in the last five trials, the participants tried to use only 50% of their previous force (1/2 of 50%). Finally, the absolute force production error (FPE) was calculated for 50% (FPE_50%) and 25% (FPE_25%).Results: The two-way repeated measure analysis of variance ANOVA did not reveal any statistically significant changes in maximal strength grip and KD between pre-and postmassage intervention in both DH and NDH hand. Correlations showed strong relationship between pre-and postmassage for maximum force (r = 0.92, p = .01 for DH, and r = 0.94, p = .01 for NDH), and only for the FPE_50% (r = 0.67, p = .01 for DH, and r = 0.71, p = .01 for NDH).Conclusions: The results obtained indicated that the application of the Swedish massage did not affect the kinesthetic differentiation in this particular young adult group.

From good sales data forecasting method is cyclical method because it has the smallest SEE value. So it can be estimated sales of the last 10 days in October 2017 as much as 70782, 70143, 69266, 68210, 67049, 65860, 64725, 63720, 62915 and 62365. The last process to get data on raw material needs is the making of MRP report. This report is a comprehensive report of the raw material requirements for GM-1C products.</em></p>
<p>The cost of production is needed to determine the cost of production of a product. Costs incurred to produce the product must be clear, so that the determination of the cost of production would be appropriate. Imprecision in calculating the cost of production will be misleading in making management decisions. Data collection methods used in this study include: Documentation, Interview, Observation. This study analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis comparing the theory with actual results of the company. PT MUTIFA in determining the cost of production using the full costing method. PT MUTIFA in determining the cost of production, all costs incurred are treated as production costs, both the cost of major raw materials, cost of auxiliary materials, packaging materials costs and production overhead. Classification of production costs in accordance with the theory that exists is composed of material costs, labor costs and production overhead costs. Total production cost per month of each element calculation the average monthly cost is Rp. 73.111.118,260,- and the average number of finished products Paracetamol tablet 500 mg tablet is as much 566,666.67 per month. Based on data on average production costs in 2009, then the production cost per tablet is .Rp. 129,019.</p>
OHS is an activities to ensure and protect the safety and health of the workforce through prevention of occupational injuries and occupational diseases. One way of prevention of work accident is through to implement OHS System. The OHS process should begin with a good planning process to ensure that its implementation complies with the desired policies and objectives. PT. XYZ Medan has implemented OHS System which is regulated in the procedures and manuals of the company’s management system. The purpose of this study was to assess and evaluate the Occupational Safety and Health Management System and also to evaluate Hazard Identification in the company. This research uses checklist method of all assessment criteria of OHS management system based on Indonesian Government Regulation, and for application of OHS in company use qualitative data through spreading of quisioner to managers, supervisors and workers. Based on the result of observation, it is found that the implementation of OHS in the company is not fully complied with the Indonesian Government Regulation. There are still 24 unfulfilled criteria that is concerning policy, plan of OHS, document control, product control, work security, hazard inspection, material management, skills and abilities. This study resulted in the acquisition of the results of analysis in the achievement level of OHS is 92.2% and has been included in the satisfactory category so worthy to be certified and ranked the golden flag. And analysis of the implementation and implementation of OHS to the established principles has been above 50% and can be interpreted that OHS is considered important to be applied in the company.
Pengendalian kualitas produk yaitu suatu proses yang dibuat untuk menjaga supaya realisasi sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan bijih plastik sebagai bahan baku utama untuk menjadi karung goni plastik yang digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan industri maupun infrastruktur. Dalam kegiatan produksinya, setiap bulannya terdapat persentase produk cacat sebesar 6,59% -9,67%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab kecacatan produk serta menganalisis hubungan antara cacat yang terjadi dengan kualitas produksi dan memberikan usulan perbaikan dengan menggunakan metode Six Sigma melalui tahap DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa jenis kecacatan pada produk karung goni plastik yang sering terjadi diantaranya adalah jahitan miring dan cetakan miring, yang disebabkan oleh komposisi bahan baku yang tidak sesuai, kelalaian operator, keandalan mesin dan metode kerja yang tidak sesuai. Berdasarkan hasil analisa regresi linier diperoleh hubungan yang kuat antara jumlah cacat dengan kualitas produksi masing-masing sebesar 39%, artinya cacat jahitan miring dan cacat cetakan miring memberikan kontribusi sebesar 39% terhadap kegagalan produk, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak disebutkan dalam penelitian ini.
