Abstrak. Anak Berhadapan Hukum (ABH) adalah anak yang melakukan atau diduga melakukan tindak kriminal dan mereka dituntut untuk bertanggungjawab dihadapan hukum atas perbuatannya sehingga mereka harus terlibat dalam proses hukum seperti penyelidikan, penuntutan, pemeriksaan, sidang pengadilan, dan banyak diantaranya yang harus mengalami hukuman di dalam penjara. Status ABH memberikan dampak negatif bagi anak, baik dari segi sosial maupun segi psikologis seperti rendah diri, emosi kurang stabil, takut, dan cemas. Hal ini berhubungan dengan kesejahteraan anak, dimana kesejahteraan seseorang dapat dipengaruhi oleh sifat afektif dari rasa syukur atau hal-hal yang dipandang secara positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan intervensi gratitude journal dalam meningkatkan rasa kebersyukuran ABH di rumah aman UPTD PPA Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus sampling dalam penarikan sampel. Partisipan terdiri dari 9 laki-laki yang berusia 13 – 17 tahun yang berstatus ABH diminta untuk melakukan gratitude journal selama 2 minggu. Skala yang digunakan adalah the gratitude questionnaire-Six item form (GQ-6) dan dianalisis menggunakan penormaan kategorisasi secara manual. Penelitian ini menemukan peningkatan yang signifikan pada skor pretest dengan nilai 24 dan posttest dengan nilai 30 pada ABH di Rumah Aman UPTD PPA Kota Makassar. Gratitude journal dapat digunakan sebagai jenis intervensi yang mampu meningkatkan rasa kebersyukuran seseorang karena secara sadar mengingat hal-hal positif yang terjadi dalam hidupnya. Akan tetapi, masih dibutuhkan penelitian lebih lanjut yang memeriksa penerapan gratitude journal terhadap ABH sebelum menyimpulkan mengenai efektivitas dari gratitude journal.Kata Kunci: ABH, Gratitude journal, Kebersyukuran
