This paper describes an advertising ethics course designed for first-year students of any major, written from the perspectives of both the course creator/instructor and the students who took the course and developed a workshop based around it. As educators, how do we help students learn and care about how their data is collected and used and further understand the ethical issues of these practices? Our goal is to raise awareness for data rights issues by helping students from a variety of educational disciplines make informed decisions using experiential learning opportunities that display the importance of data in society.

The cis and trans isomers may also be distinguished chemically by utilization of the fact that a warm aqueous 3 % solution of the cis form yields precipitates when treated with concentrated solutions of potassium chromate, amfilonium oxalate, or sodium thiosulfate; a warm 10% solution of the trans form gives no precipitate with any of these reagents.When crystallized rapidly, the cis isomer appears by the action of silver nitrite upon the trans-dichl&odiarnminepalladium(I1) complex' and by the prolonged treat-

Dabei trat Schwefel durch die Membrane in die FeS-FeO-Schmelze (zum hoheren Schwefel-Potential), wahrend Sauerstoff in umgekehrter Richtung (zum niedrigeren Sauerstoff-Potential) wdnderte. Die Summe der beiden Konzentrdtionen (S und 0) in beiden Systemen blieb konstant. Enthalt das in der Membran eingeschlossene Mn etwas MnO und die auBere FeS --FeO-Schmelze nur wenig Sauerstoff, so erfolgt der Transport in umgekehrter Richtung. Aus den experimentellen Ergebnissen geht hervor, daB solche Verdrangungsreak tionen rnit einem nur geringfugigen Abfall der freien Energie des Systems ablaufen konnen.
