Based on experimental studies using the "integral velocity index of the vertical displacement of the territory" and criterion of generalized seismicity, a close functional relationship was found between two parameters of different physical nature: seismic activity and altitude displacements of the Earth's surface in Europe. The mathematical correlation between the generalized parameters of the velocity altitude displacements on the territory and seismic activity is established according to seismic and GNSS stations for the period from 2000-2011 for the areas in Europe with close correlation between seismicity and velocity of vertical movements of the Earth's surface.

This research is devoted to the study of vertical movements of the European crust on the basis of two independent methods, namely tide gauge and GNSS observations results. The description and classification of factors affecting sea level change has been made. The precision with which the movement of the earth's crust according to the results of tide gauge observations can be explored has been calculated. A methodology to identify the duration of tide gauge observations required for studies of vertical movements of the earth's crust has been presented. Approximation of tide gauge time series with the help of Fourier series has been implemented, the need for long-term observations in certain areas has been explained. The diagram of the velocities of the vertical movements of the European crust on the basis of the tide gauge data and GNSS observations has been built and the anomalous areas where the observations do not coincide have been identified.
This work is devoted to the question of differentiation of the rotational movements of the European continent's Earth crust relative to the Euler pole based on the results of the GNSS observations. Based on the analysis of scientific publications it is determined that with the help of paleotectonic data differentiation of tectonic plates can be performed, that is to allocate separate blocks for whole tectonic plates, which have different rotating characteristics. The methodology and algorithm for conducting tectonic differentiation according to the results of GNSS observations, namely on the basis of vectors of the absolute displacement of GNSS stations are developed. According to the algorithm the division of the European tectonic plates into two blocks with different rotational parameters is obtained. According to certain parameters model values of the velocity vectors of displacement of GNSS stations and their accuracy assessment is calculated. The movement of one block in relation to another as immovable is investigated. The corresponding maps and diagrams to illustrate the obtained results are constructed.
