The emergence of Smart Grid (SG) plays a vital role in energy generation and distribution system. As SG is the association of numerous applications, this can be properly utilized to reduce the energy consumption. Hence, in this work, a new architecture is proposed to optimize the usage of RES effectively. This proposed architecture utilizes IoT for gathering the power consumption profile of the devices. Based on this profile, a schedule for a device is generated by the Micro Grid. The analysis shows the efficiency of proposed architecture.
Weather forecasting plays a major role in various fields such as agriculture, transportation etc., It is also essential in prediction of natural disasters like Flood, storm etc., So in order to prevent the damages from such natural disorders, accurate weather prediction is essential. IoT topology is a combination of both hardware and wireless communication network utilized for real-time data analysis. Hence, this proposed topology formulated an IoT based weather monitoring using artificial neural network (ANN) for prediction. The main objective of this designed topology system is monitoring weather parameters such as temperature/humidity/pressure/rainfall etc., IoT is organized to collect data from sensors and is communicated through Wi-Fi network. ANN is tailored for weather prediction. The analysis proves that the proposed architecture shows better efficiency in weather prediction than the conventional methods.
The biometric based crypto techniques extract the features from grayscale images and use those features in encryption process i.e., key will be generated from extracted features. In attribute based crypto-systems attributes of the user like email, usernames etc.…will be treated as a public key. Secret key is associated with each attribute i.e. for email there will be a secret key and for username there will be another secret key. In biometric based crypto systems, an access policy is built from the extracted biometric features.
Modern technology revolution has made our lives with so much convenient that people would hardly imagine their lives without computer. Computers are one of the main tools in businesses, educational institutes, offices, homes and even in cars. On one hand, computers have made our lives more easier, but on the another hand have created many risks for human health. The negative risks associated with the usage of these technologies are increasing with their growing demand day by day. In this study, a total of 200 computer users were chosen randomly from different fields. We have investigated usual complications through questionnaire form. Out of this, 160 were found to have the usual complications like Carpal tunnel syndrome, Computer vision syndrome, Musculo skeletal problems, Mental stress, Headache and Obesity and remaining 40 respondents were found to have no complaints. Finally, we conclude that the use of computers could either be a boon or bane to humanity which completely depends on the users and the purpose of using. Outdoor activities, physical exercise and minimized usage of computers can be practised regularly. This might be help to reduce the complications for computer employees.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
