A five-channel frequency-division multiplexing (FDM) fiber laser sensor array based on multilongitudinal mode fiber lasers (MLMFLs) and beat frequency demodulation was proposed. Detailed theoretical analysis of the FDM principle was also described. The potential application of the MLMFL-based FDM for strain measurement was further experimentally studied. The strain sensitivity of À0.92 kHz/" at 1183.52 MHz is consistent with the theoretical calculation. The proposed FDM sensing system only needs one detector and one general frequency analyzer for monitoring all sensors. This all-electrical demodulation improves the stability of the fiber sensor and greatly decreases the cost of sensors. It offers a competitive technology for large-scale monitoring field.
Leaf spot disease caused by
Cercospora beticola
Sacc. is the most damaging foliar disease threatening sugar beet production worldwide. The wide spread of disease incurs a reduction of yield and economic losses. The in-depth knowledge of disease epidemiology and virulence factor of pathogen is crucial and basic for preventing fungal disease. The integrated control strategies are needed for an efficient and sustainable disease management. The rotation of fungicides and crop could reduce the initial inoculum and delay the emergence of resistant pathogens. Spraying fungicides under the guide of forecasting models and molecular detecting techniques may hinder the onset of disease prevalence. The resistant varieties of sugar beet to cercospora leaf spot could be obtained by combining classical and molecular breeding methods. More effective approaches are supposed to develop for prevention and control for fungal disease of sugar beet.
Hyperuricemia nephropathy, also known as gouty nephropathy, refers to renal damage induced by hyperuricemia caused by excessive production of serum uric acid or low excretion of uric acid. the persistence of symptoms will lead to changes in renal tubular phenotype and accelerate the progress of renal fibrosis. The existence and progressive aggravation of symptoms will bring a heavy burden to patients, their families and society, affect their quality of life and reduce their well-being. With the increase of reports on hyperuricemia nephropathy, the importance of related signal pathways in the pathogenesis of hyperuricemia nephropathy is becoming more and more obvious, but most studies are limited to the upper and lower mediating relationship between 1 or 2 signal pathways. The research on the comprehensiveness of signal pathways and the breadth of crosstalk between signal pathways is limited. By synthesizing the research results of signal pathways related to hyperuricemia nephropathy in recent years, this paper will explore the specific mechanism of hyperuricemia nephropathy, and provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of hyperuricemia nephropathy based on a variety of signal pathway crosstalk and personal prospects.
As a multifactorial degenerative disease, Parkinson disease (PD) causes tremor, gait rigidity, and hypokinesia, which interfere with normal life. Because the disease is usually discovered in the late stage of complete degeneration of neurons, it can greatly delay treatment and even eventually lead to death. Therefore, the diagnosis of this disease is very challenging, and it is gratifying that substantial progress has been made in the development of optical coherence tomography (OCT) as a diagnostic biomarker for this disease, and genetic and imaging tests have become part of routine protocols in clinical practice. In the cognition of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), this disease belongs to deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality, which is always caused by deficiency of liver and kidney, deficiency of qi and blood, and is closely related to wind, fire, phlegm and blood stasis. A large number of studies have shown that TCM can effectively treat motor and non-motor symptoms of PD, combat oxidative stress and reduce inflammatory response, and improve the quality of life of patients. Based on the pathophysiological mechanism of PD, this paper discusses the treatment of PD by TCM acupuncture combined with medicine based on syndrome differentiation.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
