Steroids U 0300Derivatives of Exemestane -Synthesis and Evaluation of Aromatase Inhibition.-Several derivatives of the irreversible aromatase inhibitor exemestane (IV) are synthesized, which show reduced inhibitory potency towards aromatase compared to the parent compound (IV). -(GOERLITZER*, K.; BONNEKESSEL, C.; JONES, P. G.; PALUSCZAK, A.; HARTMANN, R. W.; Pharmazie 61 (2006) 7, 575-581; Inst. Pharm. Chem., TU Braunschweig, D-38106 Braunschweig, Germany; Ger., Abstr. Eng.) -M. Kowall 44-185
Fused pyridine derivatives R 0450 Thieno[3,2-c]quinoline-4-yl-amines -Synthesis and Investigation of Activity Against Malaria. -A variety of the title thienoquinolinylamines [cf. (VII), (IX)] and isomeric thieno[2,3-c]quinoline derivatives [cf. (X)] is synthesized and evaluated for in vitro growth inhibition of malaria parasites. Pyronaridine derivative (VIIc) proves to be the most active compound. -(GOERLITZER*, K.; GABRIEL, B.; JOMAA, H.; WIESNER, J.; Pharmazie 61 (2006) 4, 278-284; Inst. Pharm.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
