Recently, the study of issues related to the impact of vitamin A on lipid metabolism in fish is of vital importance, the main focus here is the study of processes of peroxidation. Moreover, the problems of optimal levels of vitamin A in the diet of fish at different stages of their development are insufficiently clarified. In this regard, the goal of the research was to study the impact of different levels of vitamin A in the diet of carp on the intensity of peroxidation and antioxidant enzymes in their body. The article presents the results of a study of the influence of feeding different levels of additional vitamin A in the diet of carp for vitamin and metabolic status, intensity of peroxidation processes and the activity of antioxidant enzymes in their body. As a result, studies suggested that adding of vitamin A to diet in the form of retinol acetate at amount of 2500 and 5000 IU/kg resulted in the increase of its content in the liver. Addition to the diet of carp of 5000 IU/kg vitamin A led to a decrease of triacylglycerol levels in their blood. Adding to the fish diet of vitamin A, depending on the dose lowers the relative amount of phospholipids and free choles...
The purpose of the work was to find out the changes in the lipid composition of the liver and skeletal muscles of broiler chickens at different stages of growth under the influence of supplements of vitamins E and C in their diet. The studies were conducted on four groups of broiler chickens. The control group was fed a standard compound feed. The first experimental group in addition to the specified compound feed received tocopherol acetate in the amount of 0.1 g/kg, the second — ascorbic acid, 0.25 g/kg. The third experimental group of chickens received tocopherol acetate and ascorbic acid at mentioned doses. The lipids from these tissues were extracted by the Folch method, and the ratio of individual lipid classes was determined by thin layer chromatography on silica gel. The results of the studies indicate the stimulating effect of vitamins E and C on the accumulation of total lipids in the skeletal muscles and liver of broiler chickens. In addition, we can conclude that feeding the broiler chickens of supplements containing vitamins E and C during the period of intensive growth promotes the increase of lipid synthesis in their liver and deposition of synthesized lipids in skeletal muscle. However, these processes are accompanied by a redistribution of the ratio of individual lipid classes in the investigated organs and tissues of chickens
The influence of the liposomal drug «Vitarmin» on composition of separated classes of lipids and fatty acid profile the lymphocytes of piglets after weaning are presented in the article. The value of certain classes of lipids in the lymphocytes of blood of piglets was determined by thin layer chromatography and fatty acid composition of lipids by capillary gas-liquid chromatography. On the 10 th day of the weaning piglets from sows, it was observed a significant increase of the content of phospholipids, reducing the content of non-esterified fatty acids and the increase of saturated fatty acids content accompanied with the decline of unsaturated fatty acids. The parenteral administration to the piglets a liposomal drug that contains vitamins A, D 3 , E, L-arginine, zinc, selenium, cobalt and magnesium two days before weaning causes the increase of phospholipids content in blood lymphocytes of at the 5 th day after weaning. Reduction of saturated fatty acids and increase of unsaturated fatty acids occurred mostly at the expense of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids. The weaning of piglets leads to changes of lipid metabolism in the organism, as evidenced by changes in fatty acid composition of lipids in piglets blood lymphocytes. However, application of complex liposomal drug causes adjusting influence on the content of separate classes of lipids and fatty acid profile of lymphocytes of blood of piglets after weaning them from sows.
