In this paper, we provide a simple and direct approach to determine quality control policy and optimization of the Markovian feedback customers that has single-server and limited system capacity under steady-state situation adding the concepts of balking and retention of reneged customers. We use the iterative method to obtain the probability that there are n customers in the system, the probability of empty system and some performance measures. Some important queueing systems are derived as special cases and the optimization of the model is performed.
In this paper we develop the confidence intervals for estimating the expected value of the units in the system and the maximum likelihood estimates of the parameters are derived for truncated singlechannel Markovian queue with balking, reneging and reflecting barrier by using quality control process under steady -state simulation. Some important queueing systems are developed and discussed as special cases of the model. A simulated numerical example is used to illustrate its application for estimating the parameters under quality control process.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
