Persistence for achievement reflected from the willingness and determination of principal to implement quality leadership will facilitate the improvement of teachers’ performance, and the two will be the determinant factors for the students’ ultimate achievement. This study aims at analyzing empirical data on the effect of instructional, transformational and spiritual leadership as independent variables, with school quality as the dependent variable. In addition, the intervening variable is teachers’ performance. This study employed the quantitative approach in which samples of 181 teachers were re taken using the proportional random sampling technique. All data were then analysed using the SEM technique with the AMOS 24 application. The findings show that: (1) there is a direct effect of instructional leadership on teachers’ performance, transformational leadership on teachers’ performance, spiritual leadership on teachers’ performance, instructional leadership on students’ achievement, transformational leadership on students’ achievement, spiritual leadership on students’ achievement, and teachers’ performance on students’ achievement. In addition, (2) there is an indirect effect of instructional leadership on students’ achievement through teachers’ performance, transformational leadership on students’ achievement through teachers’ performance and spiritual leadership on students’ achievement through teachers’ performance.
Kasus pandemi Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) hingga saat ini terus meningkat, COVID-19 di Indonesia khususnya telah menimbulkan dampak yang sangat signifikan tidak hanya pada sektor kesehatan, namun juga terhadap berbagai sektor yang bersifat multidimensional, terutama sektor perekonomian. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah berbagai kebijakan yang dibuat untuk mencegah penyebaran COVID-19 di seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia yaitu dengan adanya kebijakan pembatasan sosial berskala besar (PSBB) dan yang saat ini sedang berjalan pemberlakukan pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat (PPKM). Kebijakan ini lebih lanjut telah berdampak pada semakin lemahnya aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat, termasuk banyaknya pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) dan banyaknya masyarakat rentan yang terancam dan mudah jatuh ke dalam perangkat kemiskinan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, upaya-upaya penguatan ketahanan (resilience) masyarakat sangat diperlukan, termasuk yang berkaitan dengan membangun ketahanan ekonomi masyarakat desa yang juga terdampak pandemi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mengakselerasikan digital governance untuk memaksimalkan beberapa produk unggulan di BUMDes Sumber Makmur Abadi dan BUMDes Bulurejo Bangkit, Kecamatan Rengel, Tuban. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, pemberian modul, pendampingan, serta pemberian fasilitas platform digital sebagai media pemasaran produk. Hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatnya ketahanan ekonomi dan kapasitas masyarakat desa. Serta produk unggulan desa dapat dikenal oleh khalayak umum.
Abstract-Public-private partnership prespective can be used to see the implementation public sector project. Public sector project risks can be minimized by effective management and control trough public-private partnership. Effective communication between two parties in the exploration of needs, facilities and community empowerment play an important role to overcome conflicts of interest. Various community empowerment programs are finally be able to provide optimal benfits for all parties. Discussion as a forum for various perties can resolve the failure by formulating an appropriate empowerment model through corporate social responsibility program. The purpose of this research is to describe public-private partnership in community empowerment. This descriptive qualitative research presents the data as a result of observation, interview and documentation. There are 9 informants determined purposively from government, private and public. The data has been collected, reduced, presented (data displayed) and verified and then analyzed using interactive model. The result of the research shows that Pasuruan Government only rely on one company, that is PT. HM Sampoerna as a supporters of activities through corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. The government has not optimally explored the potential of CSR from other companies spread in pasuruan. CSR Program in the form of physical community empowerment is established Training Center for Enterpreneurship (PPK), while non-physical community empowerment is training and assisting to the public. Other result shows that the partnership of both parties is apparent, there is no formal agreement based on a written agreement, intensive and active communication both two parties is informal, also the private sector more dominant in exploring public needs.
This research aims to give an alternative solution for leadership development in the public sector to face the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0). The development of global information technology has demanded public services to adjust to today’s technologies. The problem of this study isthe public sector leaders, who are in the majority consisting of baby boomers generation up to generation X. These generations are not too familiar with technology. Traditional training models cannot improve the competencies of leaders who are predominantly old; adult learning must be developed. They do not need competency development classes, but they need mentoring to learn directly. This is a challenge to the development of local leadership in the public sector against Industry 4.0, which is implicated in the increase of public services based on technology and network. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a case study perspective. The focus of this research is local leadership competencies in the public sector. The data aretaken from primary data by interview and secondary data from literatureanddocuments that are related to the research aims.The results of this study recommend the concept of leader-member exchange, where possible in the process of social learning, to develop public leadership in the era of Industry 4.0. Here, the challenge is the desire and ego of leaders to study with their subordinates.
