Resumo A desigualdade de gênero se revela nas questões de educação, renda e acesso a Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional. No Brasil, o Programa Nacional Mulheres Mil tem como objetivo intensificar o processo de desenvolvimento regional e institucional, pela melhoria do acesso de mulheres em situação de vulnerabilidade social à educação e ao mundo do trabalho. O objetivo é analisar a contribuição do Programa para redução da vulnerabilidade à insegurança alimentar dos domicílios chefiado por mulheres. Aplicou-se um questionário semiestruturado para 384 participantes contendo as variáveis demográficas e socioeconômicas e a Escala Brasileira de Insegurança Alimentar. Constataram-se diferenças significativas em relação à renda, especialmente, entre aquelas em situação de insegurança alimentar, variando o número de participantes da faixa de renda superior a um salário mínimo. O avanço na renda não foi suficiente para intervir na Insegurança Alimentar. Mais pesquisas devem ser realizadas com objetivo de aprofundar a compreensão das relações entre renda, educação e Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional, sobretudo sob a ótica das ações direcionadas ao gênero feminino.
The nutrition food unity (NFU )in hospitals can be feature as essencial institution, then offers meals to your workers and patient.The menu plainning have the meaning objective program techniquely meal that attend the nutritional recomendations of the costumers.In this way detach the importance of the managment by the nutricionist as health agent.This study have the objective to analize the quality and the quantity of the menu in a NFU of a Hospital in Brasília and with Manufacturing Tecnical Card (MTC).All the MTC of six meals was made for ten days. Made use of Nutrional Composition Table to calculate. The information was compared with the Estimative Average Recomendation (EAR).The calorie distribution of the menu offered in the clinics demonstrated variations. About this distribution can perceive that the variations were different that the proposition of Teixeira (2002).The breakfast and the packed lunch are up the recomendation. About the micronutrients, perceive that only fiber quantity is down of the World Health Organization (WHO). In the refectory didn´t see variations on the calorie value of the breakfast,because is always the same food. At the lunch check one variation of 49% and at the dinner yet 53%, showing best playnning of the menu. The refectory menu have deficit in the fiber quantity. After analize these informations, can be discuss about new estrategies to improve the service, being to promove health feeding.
No Brasil, a Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional -SAN, semelhante a outras condições sociais, apresenta uma relação de gênero, que influencia negativamente as chances de existência de insegurança alimentar moderada nos domicílios chefiados por mulheres, quando comparados aos chefiados por homens. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar de que maneira a qualificação profissional de mulheres em vulnerabilidade pode contribuir para a SAN. Para tanto, avaliou-se as matrizes curriculares de 30 cursos ofertados, a opinião de 19 gestores e de 384 participantes do Programa Mulheres Mil em 19 campi da Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica. A amostra semi probabilística considerou a distribuição normal para o critério de cálculo de tamanho amostral, com erro l de 8% e nível de confiança de 95%. Investigou-se inicialmente à abordagem dos temas "SAN e gênero" e "SAN e educação" na última década. Também se pesquisou aspectos econômicos e sócio demográficos, o Bem-Estar Subjetivo e a insegurança alimentar das participantes do Programa Mulheres Mil. Verificou-se que as publicações selecionadas ratificam os avanços brasileiros da SAN na perspectiva do Direito Humano à Alimentação Adequada e que, apesar da maior vulnerabilidade feminina à insegurança alimentar, é inegável a contribuição das mulheres na promoção de SAN. Constatou-se potencialidades entre as características do Programa e a SAN, sob as perspectivas do empoderamento 1 e/ou apoderamento 2 das mulheres, do acesso à renda e à educação, da intersetorialidade e da promoção e proteção do Direito Humano à Alimentação Adequada. Quanto a investigação das participantes, observouse que, apesar de não haver alteração no estado de Bem-Estar Subjetivo e na insegurança alimentar das participantes, constataram-se diferenças significativas em relação à renda, especialmente entre aquelas em situação de insegurança alimentar, variando de 20,5% para 46% o número de participantes componentes da faixa de renda superior a um salário mínimo. 75,8% das mulheres se motivaram a continuar os estudos. Também se constatou relação entre as principais mudanças vivenciadas pelas participantes e as dimensões da SAN (acesso, utilização biológica e estabilidade). Conclui-se, portanto que a qualificação profissional investigada apresenta potencialidades de contribuição para a SAN. Diante disso, a proposta da presente pesquisa visa contribuir para o avanço nas limitações observadas, assim como para a práxis de uma educação emancipadora que possibilitará melhoria das condições de acesso, utilização biológica dos alimentos e estabilidade da SAN. Sendo assim, esta pesquisa objetiva que se compreenda que a educação e a alimentação adequada são direitos humanos fundamentais para o Bem-estar e que as cidadãs devem ser empoderadas e apoderar-se do que lhes é devido.
This book, comprising 24 chapters, proposes in an interdisciplinary way to present updated technical content from different areas such as nutrition, nursing, psychology, pharmacy and occupational therapy. The main objective of this work is to contribute to the clinical professional practice in oncology, as well as, to the training of students in the health field. The contents were carefully selected, compiled and approached in a didactic way, so that they provide an intuitive and pleasant reading. Starting from the molecular basis, risk and nutrition factors and cancer prevention, going through screening and nutritional assessment, since diet therapy treatment, symptom control, main nutritional problems and palliative care, and even spirituality, with the nutritional approach for adults and pediatric patients as one of its strengths. This way, readers are invited to enjoy the knowledge shared by experienced health professionals and researchers, who work in oncology. In addition to these experiences, valuable reports are presented from patients who have experienced (or are experiencing) cancer treatment, with the aim of bringing the reader closer to a different perspective of this multidimensional reality. It is known that the experience of an oncological treatment is accompanied by varied emotions and feelings for everyone involved, both for the team of professionals and for family members, in addition to the role of the patients themselves. And that is why, from the different spectrums covered, it is expected to help the professional performance in this ascending area of health to occur even more in a holistic and humanized way.
