This paper is aimed to determine the effect of scanning speed on the coordinate measuring machine to the accuracy of the measured values. Experimental work focuses to measuring the circular sample with a prescribed diameter dimension on the coordinate measuring machine with a defined various scanning speed, and to detecting deviations of the measured values from conventional values of diameter of the circular sample. Detection of the interval of scanning speed where measured values were the closest to the conventional value of diameter of circular sample is the importance of this paper.
The paper deals with utilization of active triangulation method for shape investigation of cutting inserts after wear. For measuring of cutting insert shape a method using the structured light (fringe projection) was used. As a measuring device the optical 3D scanner GOM ATOS II TripleScan SO was used. Cutting inserts with different shapes was measured. With the measurement method mentioned in the paper the accurate shape of the cutting insert can be captured. From the 3D model moreover it is possible to measure the geometrical properties as well as tool wear, plastical deformation, build-up-edge, corner damage and chipping of cutting insert.
The main goal of this publication is to determine the impact of the alignment condition to the repeatability of measured values. In the experimental work were performed four series of measurements, each contains 25 individual measurements on a single component. The component was measured according to the rules for making the comparison of measured values for repeatability. This comparison of measurement results was made by using statistical methods. A given goal was completely fulfilled. Experimental work has shown a dominant impact of the alignment condition on the measured values.
The aim of this paper is the evaluation of capability of roughness measuring device SURFCOM 1900SD3. After elaboration of theoretical part of this paper, which is focused on literary study in the evaluation of measuring devices, experimental work was proposed in which conditions for measuring and evaluation of measured data are defined. After this definition of measuring conditions, experimental work was performed. For evaluation of roughness measuring device, 30 measurements on the gauge sample with exactly determined value of arithmetic mean deviation of the profile Ra was proposed. Evaluation was carried out using statistical methods, namely coefficients to define measuring device capability. The work contributed significantly to the assessment of capability of roughness measuring device SURFCOM 1900SD3, since it was required by practice.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
