We present a cloud resources integrated provisioning architecture utilizing coordinated virtualization of distributed datacenters and operator's multi-domain software define optical network. The overall feasibility and efficiency of two proposed virtual network composition schemes are investigated on our testbed. IntroductionCloud computing is driving the creation of data centers (DC) holding tens to hundreds of thousands of servers and they concurrently support a large number of distinct services. With DC virtualization technology, IT resources (i.e., computing resources and storage resources) are considered in an elastic manner to provide for different tenants and different applications. This promotes many enterprises moving their services towards cloud infrastructures for business reasons. Also, virtualization products (e.g., VMware vSphere Hypervisor) help to achieve resource utilization improvement and better control management for DC operators. In order to support various cloud computing services which are remote and geographically distributed, we need a high-capacity, highreliability and high-flexibility network. Optical network, as a strong candidate, could provide energy-efficiency, dynamic control, and recent technology advancements including software defined network (SDN) support 1,2 .With development of software defined optical network (SDON), control plane, which is separated with data plane, leads to a more flexible manner. Based on dynamic network slicing and flexible control, layer 1 virtualization is proposed in order to share physical network resources among multiple consumers efficiently 3 . Plenty of work has been done in virtual network (VN) composition schemes in single optical domain 3,4 . However, for multi-domain SDON, a vendor or a network operator may be unwilling to share its topology or virtualization information due to some policies or security reasons. This result in the absence of a coordinator entity knowing the global network information.
