Introdução: A hanseníase é uma doença infectocontagiosa causada pelo bacilo Mycobacterium leprae. É considerada um problema de saúde pública no Brasil e em outros países, pois apresenta evolução lenta, alta taxa de transmissão e repercussões no âmbito físico, sociocultural, econômico e emocional/psicológico. Objetivo: Identificar o impacto dos estigmas sociais e das vulnerabilidades em saúde na vida dos portadores de hanseníase. Método: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura. A busca de dados foi realizada no mês de abril de 2022 por três autores independentes por meio da Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) sob a interface do Pubmed e do Portal Regional da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), utilizando-se os descritores: leprosy OR mycobacterium leprae AND social vulnerability AND social determinants of health. Resultados: Os resultados são apresentados por meio de quadros sinópticos, contendo título, país e ano, principais achados e nível de evidência dos artigos selecionados. No total, foram selecionados onze artigos que respondessem ao problema de pesquisa. Conclusão: A hanseníase está associada a diversos estigmas que circundam a baixa autoestima, o medo e a exclusão social, corroborando para uma grande interferência entre as relações de hansenianos com a sociedade, visto que o isolamento dessa população foi um método utilizado durante muito tempo.
O presente estudo tem como objetivo descrever a doença Sarcoma de Kaposi como uma condição relacionada a pacientes com HIV/AIDS e suas características, além disso o estudo buscou relatar as principais manifestações clinicas da doença, buscando assim, um diagnóstico rápido e efetivo, visando o tratamento para pacientes acometidos pela doença. A metodologia escolhida foi revisão bibliográfica do tipo revisão integrativa da literatura. Para a realização desse estudo, foram consultadas as bases de dados: MEDLINE, Scholar Google, LILACS, SCIELO e Repositórios. Utilizou-se os Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS) de forma associada: Sarcoma de Kaposi, Vírus da imunodeficiência humana, AIDS, Sintomas e Tratamento. Inicialmente, 205 estudos com a temática proposta; dentre estes, foram excluídos 105 estudos, de acordo com os critérios de exclusão estabelecidos. Após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão, restaram 12 estudos. O Sarcoma de Kaposi é uma neoplasia pouco prevalente e que há poucos anos era dificilmente vista pela comunidade médica. No entanto, com o aumento da infecção pelo HIV em populações com risco maior de desenvolverem está neoplasia e com os inúmeros diagnósticos tardios da infecção pelo HIV, vem ganhando espaço no sistema de saúde.
Assim como as proteínas, os peptídeos apresentam uma variedade de funções como, por exemplo: função estrutural, reserva energética, transporte, enzimática, hormonal e até mesmo na defesa dos organismos contra corpos estranhos. Como por exemplo os ciclotídeos que são uma classe de peptídeos que possuem uma cadeia fechada, que acabam se diferenciando dos demais peptídeos graças à conformação circular diferente de outras estruturas de peptídeos que são lineares, desempenhando função imunológica em espécies vegetais. Além do mais esse grupo de peptídeos possui uma ampla distribuição, sendo que atualmente existem cerca de 50 ciclotídeos distribuídos em 5 famílias de plantas superiores: Rubiaceae, Solanaceae, Fabaceae, Cucurbitaceae e Violaceae, sendo que a maior distribuição se encontra na família das Violaceae. Na literatura cientifica existem poucos trabalhos que retratem de forma aprofundada sobre esse grupo de peptídeos, por conseguinte este trabalho tem como objetivo retratar a biossíntese, principais espécimes, como também as principais estruturas moleculares dos ciclotídeos.
