An explorative survey was conducted in Khairpur, Sindh, Pakistan, to find the cheating behaviour of college students. To get admission to noble universities, fifty-eight per cent of students use unfair means to get higher grades. Moreover, students adopt cheating behaviour to please their parents. Resultantly fifty-five per cent of students go for cheating to a great extent. Eighty respondents were purposively sampled, from which sixty male and twenty female pre-engineering, pre-medical, commerce and arts and humanities students were examined. Questionnaires were used to collect the data and analyzed through the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Pearson correlation revealed that academic anxiety motivates college students to use unfair means in their educational institutions.
