This paper investigates the reliability and security performance of the downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) networks over Nakagami-m fading channels, where the base station (BS) aims to communicate with multi-antenna NOMA users in the presence of a multi-antenna eavesdropper. To be more practical, a detrimental factor at both transmitter and receiver is considered, namely in-phase and quadrature-phase imbalance (IQI). To further improve the reliability and security of the considered networks, the selection combining (SC) algorithm at the receiver is taken into account. More specifically, the exact analytical expressions for the outage probability (OP) and the intercept probability (IP) are derived in closed-form. To obtain a better understanding of the influence for the IQI parameters on the system performance, the asymptotic behaviors for the outage probabilities (OPs) in the high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) region are analyzed. Based on the asymptotic results, the diversity order of the considered system are obtained and discussed. The numerical results are presented to verify the validity of the theoretical analysis.
Porcine epidemic diarrhea is a devastating swine enteric disease, which is caused by porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) infection. Our studies demonstrated that PEDV infection resulted in the up-regulation of proinflammatory cytokines. Meanwhile, PEDV infection and overexpression of viral nucleoprotein resulted in the acetylation and release of high mobility group box 1 proteins in vitro, an important proinflammatory response mediator, which contributes to the pathogenesis of various inflammatory diseases. Our studies also showed that SIRT1, histone acetyltransferase, and NF-κB regulated the acetylation and release of HMGB1. Chromatin immunoprecipitation, dual-luciferase reporter gene assay, and co-immunoprecipitation experiments illustrated that PEDV-N could induce HMGB1 transcription by interacting with C/EBP-β, which could bind to C/EBP motif in HMGB1 promotor region. Collectively, our data indicate PEDV-N contributes to HMGB1 transcription and the subsequent release/acetylation of HMGB1 during PEDV infection.
Jolkinolides are naturally occurring tetracyclic diterpene from Euphorbia genus, which exhibit promising antitumor and other biological activity. Efficient syntheses of the 19-carboxy derivative of jolkinolide A and 19-hydroxyjolkinolide E have been accomplished in 13 steps with a total yield of 7.8% starting from the easily available and low-cost sweetener stevioside, and some related derivatives have also been synthesized.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
