Background/Aims: This meta-analysis is designed to determine the association between meat consumption and the risk of inflammatory bowel disease. Materials and Methods: Search relevant literature published in PubMed, Cochrane before July 2015 without restrictions. Studies were included if relative ratios and the corresponding 95% confidence intervals of the risk of inflammatory bowel disease were reported with respect to meat consumption. Results: Nine studies were included in this meta-analysis. Relative to those who did not or seldom eat meat, meat consumers had a significantly greater risk of inflammatory bowel disease (pooled relative ratio: 1.50, 95% confidence interval: 1.15-1.95). The funnel plot revealed no evidence for publication bias. Conclusion: Meat consumption may increase the risk of inflammatory bowel disease. Additional large prospective studies are warranted to verify this association.
According to the technical features and maintenance support of Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) equipment, this paper proposes a classification scheme for heterogeneous spares based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP). Firstly, the hierarchical structure of the multi-criteria was established by analyzing the criteria impacting item classification; and then the weight vector of each criterion was calculated using FAHP; furthermore, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was made to construct the fuzzy classification decision model with a sorting method based on the weight vector of triangular fuzzy number using possibility degree. The research work can provide theoretical basis and data support for decision-making of the equipment support sectors.
An online AdaBoost based tracking algorithm in FLIR imagery is proposed, where tracking is formulated as a binary classification problem. The object features are selected adaptively via online boosting. And then, a strong classifier is built on the weak classifiers. The confidence map of consecutive image frame is created by the strong classifier. The object localization is realized by detecting maximum of the confidence map using mean shift. The weak classfiers are updated according to the new samples to improve the discriminative ability to the object appearance and complex scene. Experiment results verify the effectives and robustness of this tracking algorithm which can improve the tracking performance efficiently.
In this paper, we propose a meshless method for solving the mathematical model concerning the leakage problem when the pressure is tested in the gas pipeline. The method of radial basis function (RBF) can be used for solving partial differential equation by writing the solution in the form of linear combination of radius basis functions, that is, when integrating the definite conditions, one can find the combination coefficients and then the numerical solution. The leak problem is a kind of inverse problem that is focused by many engineers or mathematical researchers. The strength of the leak can find easily by the additional conditions and the numerical solutions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
