A educação 4.0 é a forma de descrever a nova didática dentro de sala, em referência a indústria 4.0
, onde o uso da tecnologia é o foco principal. Nessa nova metodologia, a base tecnológica é primordial para preparar os estudantes para o novo mercado de inserção. Mediante a este contexto, projetos de extensão que visem a disseminação do conhecimento tecnológico em escolas públicas e comunidades afastadas é de suma importância. Ao mesmo tempo produz-se o desenvolvimentos dos discentes da universidade e do projeto e introduz o pensamento computacional nas escolas que por muitas vezes este conceito não é abordado. Além disso, o projeto de extensão Iaça, tem como propósito também incentivar meninas e mulheres a ingressarem nas carreiras STEM. O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar como o projeto de robótica feminina aplica conceitos de pensamento computacional dentro da universidade com mini cursos e capacitações e como pretende inserir a robótica para os alunos de escola pública.A representatividade e uma rede de apoio, como o projeto, se mostram fatores importantes de incentivo a meninas a cursarem e permanecerem na universidade.
