ABSTRAKGangguan neuromuskular yang terjadi secara akut merupakan suatu kondisi yang cukup sering ditemukan dan bahkan dapat bersifat fatal. Hipokalemia merupakan salah satu penyebab dari gangguan neuromuskular tersebut. Pada pasien dengan hipokalemia yang disertai dengan hipertensi, harus dipikirkan hiperaldosteronisme primer sebagai penyebab utama. Hiperaldosteronisme primer atau sindrom Conn secara klinis dikenal dengan triad yang terdiri dari hipertensi, hipokalemia, dan alkalosis metabolik. Artikel ini membahas mengenai sebuah kasus pasien yang mengalami gangguan neuromuskular. Setelah dilakukan evaluasi, ditemukan bahwa pasien menderita sindrom Conn. PENDAHULUANGangguan neuromuskular yang terjadi secara akut merupakan suatu kondisi yang cukup sering ditemukan dan bahkan dapat bersifat fatal. Kondisi tersebut dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa kondisi, seperti gigitan ular ataupun kasus-kasus yang berkaitan langsung dengan masalah neurologi. Selain itu, hipokalemia juga dinilai sebagai salah satu penyebab dari gangguan neuromuskular tersebut.Ketika hipokalemia teridentifikasi, penyebab yang mendasari keadaan tersebut perlu ditelusuri. Umumnya, hipokalemia disebabkan oleh diare, muntah, dan penggunaan obat-obatan tertentu. Pemeriksaan yang dibutuhkan juga cukup sederhana. Namun, etiologi yang jarang seperti Sindrom Bartter, Sindrom Gitelman, Sindrom Conn juga dapat menyebabkan hipokalemia dan membutuhkan pendekatan diagnosis yang lebih komprehensif. Dengan demikian, penatalaksanaannya pun berdasarkan diagnosis yang sudah ditegakkan. ILUSTRASI KASUSPasien wanita berusia 31 tahun masuk ke Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) dengan keluhan kaku pada keempat ekstremitas yang terjadi secara tiba-tiba kurang lebih tiga jam sebelum masuk rumah sakit. Pasien dalam keadaan sadar dan tidak ada keluhan kelemahan tubuh sesisi, kejang kelojotan, ataupun sakit kepala. Pasien tersebut mempunyai riwayat hipertensi dan sudah biasa mengonsumsi nifedipin 1 x 30 mg dan klonidin 3 x 0,15 mg. Pasien juga mempunyai riwayat hipokalemia berulang dan sudah tiga kali dirawat di rumah sakit karena
