Esta investigación estudia la necesidad de combinar la educación estética y la adquisición de cultura visual como aptitudes técnicas para el diseño gráfico. Se establece una metodología doble: recuperación y exploración bibliográfica que analiza la vinculación de los conocimientos de carácter técnico de ambas disciplinas, así como del análisis práctico de los resultados obtenidos mediante su aplicación en la experiencia docente y el cuestionario como técnica de investigación cualitativa realizado a estudiantes del Grado en Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas en Educación Superior. Los resultados muestran que el método de enseñanza transversal y una formación de carácter histórico y teórico sobre los medios visuales es adecuado para la aplicación de técnicas digitales y el desarrollo de proyectos de creación de branding, identidad visual e imagen de marca.
Una de las prácticas más conocidas de la “posmodernidad” en el territorio artístico y visual ha sido la denominada técnica “apropiacionista”. Leída como cuestionamiento de las figuras tradicionales de obra única, del “genio” relacionado con la autoría de la obra y del objeto artístico auratizado, algunos de los trabajos más conocidos al respecto han abierto la discusión hacia cuestiones de carácter identitario, político y biográfico que superan las prédicas de cualquier posible estilo “posmoderno”. En el presente artículo, hemos escogido algunas obras realizadas en el Estado español cuya fuente iconográfica fue tomada del Museo del Prado, eterno punto fuente de la cultura española. La presencia de imágenes extraídas de la pinacoteca, y resignificadas desde puntos de vista vinculados con las cuestiones de género y la teoría queer, nos servirá para tratar de observar el papel del Museo como espacio legitimador de discursos, la posibilidad de creación de relatos contrahegemónicos y “contralecturas” por medio de prácticas visuales que revisitan su colección, así como el impacto que éstas mismas han podido tener en la introducción de revisiones de los propios paradigmas museísticos.
La aparición del género ciberpunk coincide con los inicios de la denominada posmodernidad. En el presente artículo, y siguiendo las críticas que se han venido realizando de la misma como momento de cambio de paradigma histórico, proponemos el análisis de los espacios profílmicos de la ficción como campo de investigación en el que se sintetizan las preocupaciones de una fenomenología propia del “fin de los tiempos”. Observando los ejemplos que han ido configurando el género cinematográfico hasta darle entidad propia, trataremos de explicar algunas de sus características estéticas —como las distopías temporales, la combinación de tiempos históricos o la tendencia a la cita y el pastiche— como reflejo e investigación de preocupaciones propias del momento relacionadas con discusiones propias de la filosofía de la historia y de los medios, así como de la importancia actual de la ficción como método para pensar la historia y analizar las categorías temporales.
