El propósito de este artículo es identificar conceptos y enfoques clave de la investigación académica en el estudio de la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC). Se utilizó una técnica bibliométrica basada en la teoría de grafos para la orientación de la búsqueda y la selección de los artículos. Esta técnica reconoce las conexiones entre artículos ISI que fueron publicados sobre RSC en el periodo 2001 a 2016. Estas conexiones remiten a los autores seminales que permiten rastrear la evolución del concepto y definir los enfoques que se han manifestado en la literatura académica del management. Los principales resultados son cinco enfoques teóricos con los cuales se aborda el análisis y comprensión de la RSC: institucionalidad, reputación y desempeño, talento humano, estrategia y finanzas. Este estudio propone un método alternativo para investigar la evolución conceptual de la RSC, que sirve de antecedente a futuras investigaciones en este campo académico.
La responsabilidad social empresarial (RSE) tiene diversas aplicaciones en los sectores productivos y de servicios, aunque el sector agropecuario ha sido poco analizado en la literatura académica. El objetivo de este análisis es identificar los principales enfoques de responsabilidad social que se han desarrollado en los agronegocios. Se utilizó una técnica bibliométrica para identificar las conexiones entre artículos en Web of Science sobre RSE y agronegocios. Los resultados del análisis de la literatura muestran cuatro enfoques: cadena de valor global, cuestiones ambientales, regulación y estándares privados internacionales y estrategia. Se concluye que el vínculo entre RSE y agronegocios es un campo valioso de investigación, en especial la relación con el logro de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas.
La Declaración de Rio sobre el Medio Ambiente y el Desarrollo de las Naciones Unidas, hizo un reconocimiento global de la necesidad de la producción y consumo sostenibles, desde entonces los Estándares de Sostenibilidad han crecido tanto en número como en importancia en la comercialización de diferentes productos, en especial del sector agroalimentario. El objetivo de este artículo es identificar las líneas de estudio clave en la literatura académica sobre Estándares de Sostenibilidad en los agronegocios. Para la revisión, se utilizó una técnica bibliométrica en la cual se reconocen las conexiones entre artículos publicados las en la base de datos ISI-Web of Science. Este análisis arrojó como resultado tres líneas de estudio en la literatura: gobernanza, cadena de valor y medición del impacto de los estándares sobre productos agroalimentarios como café, banano, aceite de palma y cacao. Este artículo identifica los autores que han abordado los Estándares de Sostenibilidad en los agronegocios e identifica futuras líneas de investigación orientadas hacia la medición del impacto y contribución al logro de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible; la gobernanza privada y aplicación en los diferentes eslabones de la cadena de valor; y, el desarrollo de estándares por parte actores particulares como retailers.
