The Institute of European Law (Institutet för Europeisk rätt) invites you to an afternoon seminar in EU law Environmental Integration in Competition and Free-Movement Laws Monday 12 March 2018 at 16:00 Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law, Stockholm University The seminar will introduce Julian Nowag's book 'Environmental Integration in Competition and Free-Movement Laws' (OUP 2017). It will focus on Article 11 TFEU's environmental integration obligation and what it means for competition and free-movement law. After providing some background on Article 11 TFEU and a framework for analyzing the environmental integration, the seminar will explore a number of possible avenues for the environmental integration in competition and free-movement law. Commentators are associate professors Vladimir Bastidas and Björn Lundqvist. Julian is a tenure tracked senior lecturer in EU law at Lund University specialised in EU and Competition Law and an associate at the Oxford Centre for Competition Law and Policy where he is on the editorial board of The Journal for Antitrust Enforcement as managing editor. Julian earned a Master's degree (MSt) and a doctorate (DPhil) from the University of Oxford. He also completed an LLM in European Legal Studies at Durham University and undergraduate law studies in Germany and Austria.
