La guerra civil en Costa de Marfil presenta características únicas en relación con las causas de las guerras civiles y la naturaleza de los procesos de paz en África occidental. Es un conflicto impulsado, en gran parte, por agravios políticos y sociales concretos sobre la ciudadanía.
