A pandemia de Covid-19 escancarou a problemática sobre a impossibilidade do imigrante formado em medicina no exterior não poder exercer a profissão no Brasil. A pesquisa, elaborada a partir do método hipotético-dedutivo e do procedimento bibliográfico e documental, analisou em que medida a pandemia do Covid-19, enquanto uma situação excepcional, poderia legitimar a flexibilização das amarras legais que impedem o exercício profissional destes imigrantes. A hipótese foi testada ao longo do trabalho através da análise do quadro atual de médicos no Brasil e das questões jurídicas que permeiam a discussão sobre a possibilidade de atuação do médico imigrante durante a pandemia. Os dados e experiências recentes, através do ensino-serviço, mostram que a flexibilização do teste Revalida é uma alternativa viável para ampliar o acesso à saúde e integrar o médico imigrante, aproveitando suas melhores habilidades em favor da sociedade brasileira.
